Marco felt really bad for Dipper. Yes, they had been rivals for Star, and Dipper had won, but that was in the past now, and Marco knew how horrible it must be for Dipper to have lost Mabel to Gideon and Bill. Marco suddenly stiffened.
BILL CIPHER.
Marco hated that name as much as Dipper and Star did, because Marco had firsthand witnessed Stars possession years ago by Bill, and Marco knew that something had happened with Dipper and Bill a while ago as well. Marco took note to ask Dipper about that when he saw him next, but for now, Marco was about to be late to the conference between Star and him, so, knocking all thoughts of Bill out of his head, Marco ran to Stars conference place, or, more accurately, her bedroom.
Star was sitting on her bed when he got there. She jumped when he opened the door.
"Marco! you're finally here! now, let's get to business. What are we gonna do for Dipper? We have witnessed how powerful Bill is, so I don't think we are gonna be enough to beat him, and Gideon has that amulet, as Mabel told us once, so we really need to think this through." Star said.
Marco thought for a moment, and then stood up.
"Star, I have a idea! Dipper has experience dealing with Bill! we can distract Bill and Gideon while Dipper gets Mabel, and then escape with the scissors!" Marco exclaimed.
Star thought about what Marco said for a few minutes. He had a good plan, but Bill didn't seem like the type that messed around. He and Gideon both seemed like they meant business.
"Marco, I like your idea, but Bill is too powerful, as well as Gideon! I may be able to use my butterfly form, but remember Meteora! Eclipsea had to beat her for us, because even in my butterfly form, She was too powerful for me, and Bill is even stronger than her! He's a Dream Demon, for Mewni's sake!" Star rambled on.
"But Star, we have to do something QUICK! and plus, your forgetting that Bill is easy to distract, so honestly, what's that floating natcho got on us?" Marco exclaimed, frustrated.
"Hmm.... You are right about that stuff, but you are the one also forgetting that he can posses people again from one single deal! I don't wanna go through that again!" Star turned to Marco, fear in her eyes.
Marco suddenly realized Star's reluctance to face Bill.
"Oh, Star... that's why you don't wanna go.. Star, Dipper and I will protect you, ok? you have to trust us on this" Marco said.
Star looked in Marco's eyes and sighed, then stood up.
"Ok. I trust you"
"Great! now, lets do this!
