Chapter 5

Dipper tumbled through the portal, landing on his face.

"Oww....." He groaned. Star helped him up, and he looked at her with a look on his face.

"Star...." Dipper paused. "Thank you... for saving me back there..I know you probably were scared as well." Dipper said, blushing.

"Dipper, the only thing I could think of in that moment was you, and trying to save you" Star admitted.

"Hey Dipper, I've been meaning to ask you... What happened between you and Bill? What deal did you make?" Marco asked, curiosity in his eyes.

Dipper sighed. He didn't want to revist that day, but he guessed that Marco and Star deserved the truth.

"It was my first summer at Gravity Falls. I had found a laptop, that held the key to unlocking the secrets of Gravity Falls. However, there was a uncrackable password to it. Mabel wouldn't help me, and I got frustrated. Bill appeared to me when all the data was about to be erased. He took advantage of my frusteration with Mabel, and tricked me, by saying he wanted a puppet, and when I asked him what puppet he wanted, he paused, and then shouted 'YOU!' And stole my body. If it wasnt for Mabel, I would have been stuck in the mindscape forever." Dipper ended with a sigh.

Star gasped, and Marco was in shock.

"Yeah...it was terrible... I honestly still feel so much shame about what happened..." Dipper sighed.

Star didnt hear him in that moment, because she was remembering what happened after she was possesed by Bill, and what he had said.

"Your still my puppet kid!" Bill's voice echoed in star's thoughts. Star clutched her head and screamed, tears streaming down her face. Marco burst in the room with dipper again, and saw star in this poor state. Her eye's looked parnoid lile dipper now, and her hearts were really close to breaking. "Star!" Marco ran over. "It's ok. What did he say?" Dipper asked, concerned. "H-he told me i was his puppet now. His exact words were..... y-your still my puppet kid." Star stuttered. "What have i done" she gasped.

Star gasped. Dipper and Marco turned around and saw her with eyes wide open, and tears streaming down her face.

"Star! Are you ok!" Marco said, kneeling beside Star.

"I was so stupid! Why did I ever make that deal with Bill! Everything that happened to you Marco, and you Dipper, it's all my fault!" Star gasped out, tears streaming down her face.

Dipper gasped. "N-nono, Star, its not like that! I was stupid as well! Bill is tricky! Hes decieved many great minds! Don't blame yourself!"

Marco nodded. "We've all made deals with Bill, so don't you only blame yourself!"

Star ignored them, and kept on crying, her heart cheekmarks cracking.

"Star! Your cheekmarks! Please, Stop! What if they break!" Marco cried out.

Ignoring them still, Star looked up to what would be the sky, and yelled.

"What have I done?!"
