"Phew, I am not going to miss being a boar." Mighty Ray stretched his arms a bit.

"I'm gonna miss being able to be so graceful." Mystic Sonya smiled, following Lin Chung back to base.

"Think Cos is going to be alright?" Ray questioned.

"Big Green has the best medical care I can think of. She'll be perfectly fine." Sonya tossed a wary look to their leader who had picked up his pace.

"Lin, you alright?" Mighty Ray stopped for a second and watched as Lin Chung held his bamboo shooter tightly.

"I-... Something doesn't feel right. I just. Cosima and I had a strong connection. When she got hurt, it felt like something snapped and now, I can't feel that connection." Lin looked down. "I fear the worst."

"Maybe it's just Twin Masters trying to mess with her, but she didn't let him so he cut your ties?" Ray shrugged and started walking again.

"Perhaps..."

Big Green was cold when the trio entered. Grey clouds had set over the skies, setting the mood for the stormy night to come. The regular animals who were watching the front were solemn and let First Squad by without so much as a word.

"I don't like this." Lin frowned, looking at the bleak hallways. "It's too quiet."

The trio made their way to the medical wing where they found a crowd staring in a window. Shouting came from the other side along with a light buzz of energy in the area.

"Excuse us!" Mighty Ray forced a path through and stopped.

"Clear!" The buzz filled the room again.

Though it was hard to hear, a light beeping noise started back up.

"Safe..." The voices of the doctors were muffled as they put away their gear.

They left the room, with a sign of First Squad visitors only hanging from the door. The crowd cleared as Lin made his way inside, followed by the others.

Chuffing came from the bed along with a pained look from the sprawled out lynx.

"Cosima." Lin grabbed her paw in his hand.

Your hands were always bigger than mine.

"How are you feeling?"

Lin. Hey, Lin. Sun's getting low. Heh... Heh...

"Cosima? You okay? Do I need to get the doctors?"

They can't... I'm not able to... Lin, they can't fix me.

"Why not? Is there some secret medicine? Do we need to check ancient text? What do I need to do?"

Lin looked shocked for a second before slightly smiling.

I was hurt with energy. Harmonic Energy. The opposite to chaotic.

"My energy. I know."

It... The blast was ment for Twin Masters. You had no fault here.

"I shouldn't've..."

Bah, shut up. Listen. The harmonic energy canceled mine. At this point, I'm only fumes. Just do me a favor, okay?

Beat the shit out of Twin Masters. Cosima's eyes bored into his and she blinked slowly, trying to convey her confidence in him. A light chuffing sound came again, only in a coughing pattern.
