The first time they met

AUTHOR'S POV

It was one week after his mom bring him to them. Thomas was seven years old. He had been took in charge by Ava, the woman who is the leader of W.I.C.K.E.D organization. There was also another kid, a girl who was named Teresa. She was the only person at the same age as his. Yes, there were other kids by for a reason that they didn't know, they were separated from the others. Ava said to them that's because they were more intelligent but they both don't believe that.

Today was an important day for them because Ava will gave them a visit of the whole W.I.C.K.E.D complex. They started to visit labs and reunion rooms and after she took them to the informatics room

Her: When you will be older that's where you will work you will watch the subjects in the maze to see if everything is okay

And at the end of the visit she took them to the operation room. When they came in, there was many beds to get some rest after the operations.

Thomas noticed that one of them was used by someone but he couldn't see the person because there were drapes all around the bed. So Thomas came closer and remove one of the drapes to see a young blond haired boy with bandages all over his head and was sleeping peacefully.

Ava who noticed that Thomas was gone came to him angrily.

Her: Thomas??? What are you doing here?? Did I tell you to came to see this boy??

Him: no, I'm sorry Ava...

He started to cry and Ava realized that she has been to far

Her: I'm sorry Thomas, I know you're curious about them, and I understand that you want to know more about them but we have to keep focus on the work we have to do you remember? We have to build a maze together you understand?

Him: Yes Ava, I'm sorry

She gave him a hug

Her: It's ok Thomas don't worry

Him: But I have one question!

Her: Yes?

Him: Who is that boy?

She was about to answer but two guards came in with an Asian boy who was doing everything that he could to get off of the guards grip. When he saw the blond boy he started to worried.

Him: NEWT!!!!NEWT ARE YOU OK????CAN YOU HEAR ME???WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!!!!

Teresa and Thomas looked at him worried and confused.

Ava: Don't worry for him. His name is Minho and now he's going to have a test to see if he's immune or not.

She looked at Newt who was still sleeping

Her: this one named Newt. He just did theses tests but we found out that he wasn't immune so he will need more rest than the others.

Thomas looked down to the boy. So his name was Newt.

Starting from that moment he wanted to spend all of his time with him.

That night, Thomas made a dream where he was with Newt playing with each other, and knowing each other better imagine the best live they could live together.

His dream suddenly took an end when he heard someone knocking to his room door.

He opened it and saw Newt, smiling at him

Him: Hi Tommy!

Thomas: Newt!! Wait! How do you know my name?

Him: Maybe I was sleeping when you came in but I still have ears and I heard your name.

Thomas: ok.. but what are you doing here? You're not supposed to be able to came here, we're separated and me and Teresa tried many time to find you guys but we weren't able to!

Newt put his hand in his pocket and showed him a employee card.

Him: Minho stole it from a guard! That card open all the locked door so that's why I'm here. Come with me!

Thomas: Where are we going?

Him: I'm going to present you to the others! And hang out with us! Do you want to?

Thomas had a huge smile on his face. His dream became a reality!

Newt: Would you stop smiling like a bloody idiot and tell me your answer?

They both started to laugh

Thomas: Yes! I want to! We just have to pick up Teresa I'm sure she will wants to join us! She's the room next to mine!

Newt move beside him

Newt: After you!
