There was a gasp and a growl and then nothing.

No birds' song like background music to their day. No golden leaves crunching into small flecks under scurring feet. The soothing sound of streams joining to make a flowing river seemed to hault. The subtle diffrences in the trees bark becme one, thick, brown curtain, behind which the blazing sunset  was nothing more than a vague flicker. The delicate flower petals transformed into to one clump of rainbow. The erthreal scent from the many fruits and berries that could be found bangling from branches in the forest was crippled by an unknown intoxicating aroma.

The woodland disappeared as Little Red and the Wolf touched.

Anna was older than some of the rolling snow topped mountains in the distance but never, ever in her long life had she felt like this, it was almost as if an electric current was running through her, still too stunned to speak she attemped to look the wolf in the eye. Again, and again she tried to lift her head to meet the chocolate brown orb but the current seemed too thick to break.  Time seemed to stop as she lay there, it could have been seconds, hours or days eventually the electric current was reduced to a comforting warmth and Anna risked moving again, she couldn't fully lift her head but had enough control to snuggle into the the muddy cloud and slowly drift off into a dreamless haze.

Wolf lay there scared to move incase he disrupted the ridget yet frail little girl laying peacfully on his back. gradually her panting slowed to normal breathing and then to the deep, almost laboured breaths which indicated the dainty body had fallen asleep. He took this oppertunity to examin the sleeping form, black patent slippers and flimsy silk stockings covered her feet and a red cloak masked the rest of her figure. Her lips, matching the cloak stood out from her creamy skin, made look like ivory compaired to her dark brown curls and spider like eyelashes that reached the rose tinted blush on her cheeks, she looked so angelic he didn't believe she was real, he wanted to reach out and touch her but was scarred to disturb such a fragile creature. So he settled for staring at the captivating face untill slowly the eyes opened.
