"now listen Ethan" the guard spoke, "Grayson has gotten a lot more aggressive since you've seen him. just always keep your eye on him, okay?"

"okay" i said, shaking a bit

i was visiting Grayson today at the prison he's been kept at. his trial doesn't start for another three months. i haven't spoken to, or seen Grayson since he was arrested at our home in Jersey.

Grayson requested to see me and i'm not really sure what is going to go down. i step into a bright white room with windows scarttered across every piece of the wall. the officer directs me to sit in the chair and says,

"you only have 5 minutes together"

"okay" i spoke, "you'll let me know when the time is up, correct?"

the officer shook is head and made his way back out the door. i sat there tapping my fingers when i hear loud yelling.

"grayson" the guard screamed, "control yourself"

i heard him grunt loudly, "5 minutes!" the guard yelled

grayson sat down in front of me, swollen red face, black eye, and cuts on every inch of his face.

"hey" i spoke

he looked down, "hey"

it was silent for a moment, "listen eth" he coughed, covering his mouth as blood spewed out, "i'm sorry. i really am. hazel was the love of your life and i took her away from you. i was jealous"

i stared at the table,

"i'm dying in here ethan, literally."

"i can see that" i said focusing on his face

"can you bail me out?"

i raised an eyebrow, "seriously?"

"yes i won't survive in here"

"not my fault" i shot back

"are you fucking serious Ethan"

"you killed my girlfriend Gray, you think I'm just going to bail you out like everything is A okay?" i began to get angry

"i'm your brother" he seemed hurt

"do you think i care? seriously? think about it for a second" i pointed at me, "you aren't being logical"

"fuck you" he slammed his fist on the table and gritted his teeth together

"enough!" the guard shouted, "time's up anyways. let's go"

with that Grayson got off the chair and made his way to the door where the guard was standing patiently for him,

"you'll regret this" he said and walked down the hallway with the guard

but i knew, i wouldn't regret this because he killed my girlfriend and Grayson deserved to be in here, rotting away in hell.

this is where he belong and i'm okay with that.
