Letting it All Out

I called Emma. "Hello?" she answered on the third ring. "Emma, come over to my house. Now." I ordered. She sighed. "Fine. I'll be there in ten." she said quickly.

I stared out my bedroom window. She pulled in my driveway. She just walked into my house, and it didn't bother my family one bit. "Okay, I'm here. Is something wrong?" she asked. Emma dropped her overnight bag on my bed and sat down next to it.

I smiled. "I think I might have a boyfriend." I said excitedly. Her mouth dropped. "OK, so let me get this straight, you might or you do?" she questioned. I shrugged. "Well, he took me out today. We met at Heather's party yesterday. But I feel like I've known him forever!" I droned.

She cleared her throat. "Who is 'he' exactly?" she asked. I took a deep breath. "This is going to sound really weird, and crazy, but Harry Styles." I admitted awkwardly. "OHMYGOD." she sputtered. "Harry Styles!? As in, One Direction, Torn, What Makes You Beautiful, Harry Styles!?"

I nodded. "THIS IS JUST.... WOW." she gushed. "So many girls will be hating on you. You might have to delete your Twitter and Facebook!"

I groaned and collapsed against my pillows. "Stop. I don't even want to think about that right now. We might not even be going out."

She pulled out her phone, ready to type something out. "Okay, here's how we'll determine if you're going out. Has he made eye contact for more than five seconds?" I nodded.

"Has he texted you before you texted him?" I shook my head. "Not yet." I answered. She raised an eyebrow. "Okay, has he made any moves?" she asked. I shrugged again. He put his coat on my shoulders, I was freezing by the way, and he put his arm around me." I said.

She nodded and smiled. "K. Have you guys kissed?" My face fell and I stuttered. "Well, about that.. I've only known him for a day... and WE KISSED AT THE FIREWORKS. LASTED TEN SECONDS."

She fell off my bed. And when she scrambled to get up, she yelled, "YOU KISSED HARRY STYLES!"

I guess I might have to duct tape her mouth when I tell her things from now on.
