A MERMAID'S LOVE STORY

Chapter 1

" Edey, I think I need to leave town for a while. The reporters are not living and I also need to clear my head". He looks at his secretary knowing he will be in support of him leaving for a while. " It a great idea, Asher but I wonder why people fall in love? We can all just turn to werewolves and start having mate at least there won't be fear of loving the wrong person" Edey says trying to cheer his friend and boss up he feels from him since the death of Asher's parent he vows to always support him and he is going to do anything to make him happy again.
Asher smiles. He knows Edey is trying to help but he will never understand his obsession with weird creatures that are not even real.
" Bro, you should go to the old mansion no one knows the place so that's a bonus" Asher looks at his secretary though to him he is family. " Alright, book my flight" he says. " Ok and get back to be the bossy boss" Edey smiles at him as he leaves the office.
He looks around his office now Edey will stop bothering him to get a break. He spots a painting on the creamy wall of his office a painting he once cherished but now loathes with  passion.
It is a painting of his young version and a blonde beautiful girl. The girl is playing with sand as he gazes at her lovingly.
"Nothing is permanent" he thinks as he remember when he took the picture he was twelve then and the girl ten years. He fell in love with her but now it's a memory he wishes to erases.

He proposed to her few months ago and she said yes. He was secretly planning the wedding secretly when he found out her fiance and first love, Emily Stone married his best friend Harry the supposed best man for his wedding.
He is hurting and the first week he drones himself in alcohol.
Due to his status as a multi billionaire reporters move around his house and office wanting to know his thought on the marriage.
He needs to clear his head and plans a revenge. He is Asher Bob and he doesn't play nice.

The sounds of the beeping phone brings him back to present he picks up. " I have booked your flight. 2pm today" Edey tells him. "Okay" he says and cuts the call. He looks once again at the painting removes it from the wall and puts it in the dustbin.
He picks up his suit and walks out of his office to clear his head, plans a revenge and probably the road to heals from the betrayal of his first love and friend.
