Haley's POV
A few days later

I hear my phone ringing and get confused at the unfamiliar number.

"Hello?" I say

"Hey.. Haley." I hear and I furrow my eyebrows.

"Its been a while." I say

"Yeah... how are you.?" He asked and I laugh.

"Why are you calling?" I asked

"Because.. Grayson said he saw you." He said.

"Yeah.  And?" I asked

"I wanna see you too." He said

"Ethan its been two years."  I said

"You have a girlfriend.  I am over you.  I don't know why you would want to see me." I said and then Ryan starts crying.  Probably because I raised my voice a little and had attitude.  She hates negativity.

"Are you babysitting?" He asked

"How did you even get my number?" I asked

"Grayson obviously." He said

"Well.  I changed it for a reason" I said picking up Ryan and holding her to my chest as she stops yelling and crying.

"Haley if your so fucking over me.  Than I dont see an issue with us being friends." He said

"I am over you.  I don't even think about you anymore.  Haven't for a while.  I just don't see the point in being friends with you." I said

"You can be friends with my brother." He said scoffing

"Yeah. I wasn't planning to.  He is just determined." I said

"Lets hang out." He said

"I don't think your current girlfriend would like that." I said and hang up.

I look down at Ryan.

Fuck.

I think about Ethan all the time.  Ryan is obviously a constant reminder of him. 

I mean I am over him.  I still don't like him though.  I don't just forgive people like that.

I call Grayson.

"You motherfucker." I said as he answered

"I told you I was going to tell him! I only told him today because the pst few days he was with his stupid girlfriend and I didn't think that was a good time before" he said

"Grayson he wants to be friends" I said

"I don't" I said

"Can I come see Ryan??" He asked and I sigh.

"Sure. Whatever." I said
