I've been getting calls from everyone and I've been ignoring everyone that week. I would say I got 50 missed calls from all of them together but most from Cesar.
I walk downstairs with my book bag on and my parents then came out from the kitchen
"You sure you want to go back to school today?" Mom asked since I told them about Latrelle and his injury that happened
"Yeah..I'm probably failing some classes so I have to go, I don't want to end up in summer school." I said
"You want any breakfast before you head out?" Dad asked putting his arm around mom
"Actually no, I'm fine." I said
"Okay sweetheart, if you decide you want to come home we will come pick you up from school." Mom said
"Thanks." I said and I walked out

I finally arrived at school and I am walking down the hallway and I see the group except Jamal who wasn't walking with them and they all had a surprise face while Monse and Olivia rushed over to me and hugged me tightly
"OMG I missed you!" Monse said while she was hugging me and I gave off a smile
"I missed you too..I missed all of you." I said
"Plus I love you're outfit and you're hair." Olivia said smiling
"Thanks." I said smiling
"Well look who decided to come to school today." Ruby said
"Not now Ruben, she just came back." Monse said
"I know Monse, I was just kidding. Welcome back Malu." Ruby said and I smiled at him
"Yeah welcome back Lu." Cesar said and I looked at him with a straight face and then looked at Monse
"Where's Jamal?" I asked
"Running late but he'll be here soon." Ruby said
"Cool." I said
"See you guys at lunch come on Monse." Olivia said and Monse waved bye as they walked away
