Chapter 30: Recovery

*Our heroes made it to Porlyusica where Natsu and Makarov lay on a bed for recovery*

Porlyusica: Makarov seemed to push himself too hard, but he'll recover sooner or later.

Lucy: And what about Natsu?

Porlyusica: When was the last time he didn't recover from something. Of course he'll be fine.

Everyone: *sighs in relief*

Porlyusica : I'm incredibly sorry about what happened. Based on what I've heard, I recommend you all start preparing yourselves for tomorrow.

Lucy: Yeah. We will. We'll do whatever it takes to get our Guild back.

Porlyusica : I have faith in you. Good luck. And you'll want to wait for a few hours before you pick these 2 up again.

Lucy: Ok.

Wendy: Thanks again Grandeena. *everybody leaves*

Porlyusica: I'm not... oh whatever.

*she examines Makarov's leg*

Porlyusica: My goddness. Did something nearly bite your leg off?

*then she examines Natsu's injuries*

Porlyusica: Hmm. What a gaping wound this is. Alright. Time to begin.

*meanwhile back at Lucy's apartment*

Lucy: Alright. The gangs all here now. *everybody is almost squeezing into each other* AND THERES STILL NO ROOM IN HERE!!! *becomes angry again*

Guy from above apartment: SHUT UP!!!

Lucy: Wait... isn't today...

Landlady: *barges into Lucy's room* TIME TO PAY FOR RENT LUCY!!! GET YOUR FRIENDS OUT OF HERE!!!

Glad: *cries*

Cosmo: *tries to calm him down*

Lucy: Bu-bu-but I'm not ready yet.

Landlady: YOU'D BETTER HAVE IT BY THE END OF TOMORROW!!! *slams the door shut*

Lucy: GAH!!! I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY!!! I ONLY HAVE 60,000 JEWELS! I NEED 10,000 MORE!!!

Gajeel: Will you stop yelling!

Levy: Calm down Lu. Once we get the guild back, you'll able to pay for rent for a long time.

Lucy: Yeah. I guess your right.

Happy: *looks out the window*

Lucy: Whats wrong Happy?

Happy: I hope Natsu will be alright. We need him in order to take back the guild.

Lucy: *hugs Happy* Don't worry Happy. When Natsu gets back, he'll be more fired up than ever, and the guild will be ours again.

Happy: Yeah, you're right.

Lucy: In the meantime, we might wanna relax and train a bit.

Terrence: But what can we do? No matter how much we train, our magic will still have zero affect on them.

Lucy: But we still have to try.

*she notices Levy thinking of something*

Lucy: What is it Levy?

Levy: I'm trying to figure out how we can't hurt the Mutants with our magic.

Lucy: Maybe its a spell protecting them.

Levy: Hmmm. Maybe. I remember how King Mutant said how he was made by Doctors Star and Tar.

Lucy: *thinking*

Cana: But King Mutant said the 2 Doctors are dead, so there is no way of asking them.

Lucy: Hmm. Doctors Star and Tar... THATS IT!!!

*Everybody looks at Lucy*

Lucy: If we find the Doctors lab, maybe it might have some answers about the Mutants weakness.

Levy: Good thinking Lu.

Cana: You go Girl!

Erza: I shall lead a small team to find the Doctors laboratory. Lucy, Wendy, Carla, Levy, and Myself. Everybody else, stay here.

Everyone: Right!

*Later in the afternoon in the forest*

Lucy: Gah! We've been searching for 2 hours! I'm not sure if we can find the laboratory.

Erza: Don't give up! We must find it at all costs!

Wendy: But how do you know that the lab is here?

Erza: I don't.

Lucy, Levy, Wendy, and Carla: *make blank faces*

Levy: Wait, didn't King Mutant say Makarov found the laboratory? So how would we know if we don't ask him?

Erza: We can't because we have to let him heal. So we'll have to find it ourselves.

Carla: *sighs*

Lucy: Alright. I don't think we can find... *steps on something hard that makes a loud bang* ...it?

*Everybody notices and walks to Lucy*

Lucy: *brushes off the grass and finds a rusty metal hatch* Metal?

Erza: *grabs the handle and opens the hatch*

*When the hatch opens, it leads to a deep, dark, underground tunnel*

Lucy: Alright guys. Here we go.





*A mysterious lab waiting to be discovered once again*
