Sara just decided to drop out of her previous school because of reasons she wouldn't tell anyone, she just wasn't ready to trust anyone. She transferred into another one, and today would be her first day there. She lived in Karachi, Pakistan. To her surprise it was easy to convince her parents to let her change schools. She thought they supported her since she was the youngest of her siblings.
She couldn't sleep all night, she was just so anxious, a million questions raced through her mind as she rested her head on the headboard after giving up trying to sleep. It was still dark outside. She sighed trying to get herself distracted by listening to music but it just didn't there were so many questions that filled up her mind that she groaned from stress.
"What if you make a bad impression on everyone?" "What if you trip as soon as you enter class?" "What if everybody hates you" it was her anxiety whispering to her, something that worried her more than anything was the fact that she had always been in a all girls school and this time she changed into a co-education which meant there would be both girls and boys, and for some reason this scared her, she was more than nervous to make a good impression on everyone.
She layed in bed thinking of a the worst consequences that could take place. She did that until it was time to get up and by that time she had ran out of every possible consequence that could take place. She got ready for school, she did her hair into a braid, wore her uniform and headed out, she had no one wake up to support her or make her breakfast and this upset her, but there was nothing she could do about it.
She was more nervous than anything, her hands trembling and cold as her class teacher came to lead her to the class. She stepped up to introduce herself, and as she was doing so, she managed to catch a glimpse of everyone in class almost everyone was looking at her, except for this one guy, her eyes settled on him, he looked up but when he saw her looking he immediately averted his gaze and started fiddling with his pencil. This made her smile to herself.
There was an empty seat in the class between two girls, so she automatically had to sit there. She had no idea but there was something about that boy that made her want to know him. Listening to her thoughts she quickly brushed it off "This isn't you Sara" she whispered to herself.
As she turned to a group of girls crowded around her, she felt relieved seeing everyone so friendly, she still wanted to talk to that boy but she had to be patient.
