chapter 16: supposed to meet

Okay the exams were here! And my first one was art, so I finished a little bit early.

I had 3 science and French tommorow.

I texted Ivan after revising.

Ivan: we should meet!
Ilona: yes! You have your exams also right?
Ivan: yes, I finish more early than you, haha!

Yes, he was having School Certificate (SC) exams and those papers were strictly corrected by Cambridge.

Ilona: yes, I know! And also, you have more days to revise while I have only one between each exam day!
Ivan: I pity you!
Ilona: whatever.
Ivan: hehe ily babe.
Ilona: ily too.

And also, we exchanged nudes on this day also. This routine never faded away and we had no problem even during the final year exam period.

Everytime I had to meet Ivan, his father didn't let him or he had many excuses, I once waited him at the bus stop but he didn't show up. I met my two brother by heart there. One had his birthday and I bought a big bag of candies for him and a bar of chocolate for Ivan. He didn't come so I gave him to the birthday boy.

I wasn't in the mood to have chocolate either.

I returned home by the public bus with Kelly, my classmate who lived in the area.

Ivan also apologised that he couldn't make it up to meet me. I didn't mind anyways I would be soon on holidays so what's the point? And my father wouldn't let me hang out with my friends for a 12 year old.

I just prayed to God that we met soon.

I continued my revision and texting Ivan after.

Finally the last day of exam! I had Mathematics, duh! I did my best.

Yay! Finally holidays!

Ivan had a few more exams and we were in the month of October maybe he would finish in the mid-November. But still, he continued to talk to me.

All my stress vanished and I was really happy! I just had to wait for results which would be out on 6th December to see my performance.
