I was smitten with you
With the way your lips formed my name
They were perfect
I yearned to taste them
I was drawn to you
You knew this
Yet you toyed with me
Yanked the strings
That I was connected to
And threw me away
When you've had enough
I've spent my time
Reminiscing about us
You haunt me
In my nightmares, my daydreams
Yet
You were my light
