Beforehand of what happened.
Yurio's pov.
"You know Yuri you seem to keep looking at my sister." Viktor brings his attention to my spacing out. I look at him and laugh.
"Seriously I don't think so." I laugh it off and try to act more serious.
"One date won't hurt you know, it gets you off of training and maybe a lover." Viktor nudges me and laughs.
"Fine I'll ask her, just because so told me too." I skated off to find Anastasia in the other rink relaxing. "Is this how you're supposed to use your time, rostelecom cup is soon you know?" I yell at her, she looks so dead, ugh if she says yes to this date I don't want to drag her around.
"Well how am i supposed to spend my time?" She asks back while skating towards me. I look away and my face starts to feel warm.
"Ummmm, maybe with me?"
"Sorry, but i didn't hear what you said." She towards me. I look at her and look back down to my skates, "Spend time with me and we could hang out or something." It came out harshly and I wanted to say it softer, sometimes I just can't get my point across. She laughs I can't tell if she thinks this is a joke or she doesn't like me.
"Of course I would like to hang out with you." She smiled at me and hugs me. What? A hug? I push her back. I look at her then begin to leave her, "Meet me outside of the hot springs at six o'clock." I then exit the arena to relax, I should probably go get ready and figure it a date plan. I run to Viktor for date ideas, but none of them seem good. I could go to the pig, No! That's not an option, that pig wouldn't know what to do for love lives, but he's my only option. So I have to ask. Once he gives me my answer and I leave to go get ready. A festival date, what a not terrible idea. I go out on some clothes that I find comfortable and browse Instagram as I wait for Anastasia to come and meet me, she steps out in some jeans and a sweatshirt. Even though she didn't put much effort into her outfit she looks beautiful.
"So where are we going?" She asks me nicely.
"Oh um, to the festival down in the main town." I say while walking away, my heart begins to pump faster and I could hear it through my head. I could feel sweat beginning to come from my hands, I've never been this nervous before. I try to think about something else while walking beside Anastasia, but she and I are both quiet. We walk towards the festival and that's where I decide to bring up some conversation. "So, what's your taste in music?" I look down at her.
"I usually listen to alternative and k pop. How about you?" She asks nicely.
"I listen to mostly alternative and punk."
"Cool." She looks at all the street markets and smiles. We keep up conversation and look at all the market shops. It neared nine in the afternoon and she had ended up buying two bags full of stuff to use, most of it was funny stuff and some was some pocky that she had wanted to try. Once we walked back we had started talking about funny skating stories, most of our conversation wasn't great, but it got us somewhere. Once we arrived back we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways and I went to my room, I flopped on my bed and grabbed my phone out, but then dropped it on the messy surface. Anastasia and Viktor look so different than each other I wonder why. I begin to research different things about her while most of the people sleep through the night, I can hear a door creaking and I get up to see what happened. Suddenly faint steps could be heard and I couldn't make out the blurry dark blob that looked like a person, they obviously didn't see me and kept making their way to their destination, I followed the person who once I made out in moonlight turned out to be Anastasia. She began walking towards the rink and opened up the locked building, she laced up her skates and opened one ice surface and began to warm up, she brought out her phone and plugged it into the audio player and selected some piano music, she started to work on what seemed to be her short programme, but at the same time I couldn't tell if she was just having fun. Once she had started she told a story about a lover getting shot, her grace and poise showed throughout the whole routine, once she finished her last move I couldn't help but clap. She looked at me and screamed. Not loudly, but loud enough that her voice echoed in the arena.
"What are you doing here?" She asked me.
"I would ask the same for you." I replied back and smiled at her.
"That's a long story." Anastasia looks down at her skates.
"Trust me I got all morning." I say to her as I walk towards the boards.
