Hatred

A few weeks have pasted since Niklaus first learned about us being mates and by God he is trying to make me laugh at every turn. He's just trying to make me happy. He's trying to be a good mate but I can tell he's getting frustrated with me. I want to complete it but I can't. I just can't. He's sister has become my best friend, and I trust her more than everything. We where currently at my other house and just dancing, drinking, and having a good time.

"So my brother Nik how do you feel about him?"

"Bekz you just ruined everything. I was having a good time and you brought him up." My smile faltered as I looked at her.

"Why is he being difficult. If so I will kill him myself."

"No. No. God no Bekz. He's not being difficult. The exact opposite actually. He's being perfect."

"Then what's wrong?"

"Nothing. Everything. I don't know. I just don't feel that I can trust him quite yet, Rebekah."

"Am, if he's trying to be the Nik I grew up with than you can trust him." Why do I trust Rebekah you might be asking, well that's because she makes me feel sane and normal, likes nothings wrong with me. Like I don't have a giant scar an my side. Like I'm not the mate to her psycho brother. Like I'm not to take over the while supernatural community. She makes me feel sane and happy.

I smiled at Bekz as a knock came to the door. I got up and answered it. I opened the door and Nik was standing there with a smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile at him.

"Hello my little red."

"Hello my wolf."

"Nik you ruined girls night. Leave we where just getting to the good part." Rebekah whined.

"Let me guess you where talking about me." A smirk crossed his face. Man I wanted to smack it off.

"No we were talking about Rebekah's crush not you. Why would we talk about you on girls night?" A smirk that mimicked Nik's one formed on my lips.

"Are you drunk?" Nik asked with an amused glint in his eyes.

"I don't know brother are we?" Rebekah sassed.

"Maybe a little. But you do have to go now it's girls night. No boys allowed." I hummed.

"Well fine I'll make myself scarce." Nik laughed leaving.

After Nik left Rebekah turned to me and said, "So how do you feel about him?" I looked at this 1000 year old teenager before laughing. I didn't notice the chocolate all around her lips. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of her shocked look before she snapped, "Wait what is it?"

After a few more minutes my laughter died down and I answered, "You have chocolate all around your mouth."

Her face fell before she too started laughing which brought my laughter back up. So here we are one original vampire and the queen of the supernatural laughing on the floor because of chocolate. We finally stopped laughing and watched a horror movie. Once that was over I decided she needed to watch Buffy The Vampire Slayer. She seemed to like it, until the door burst open revealing a pissed Damon.

"Hello, Damon. How are you?" Rebekah asked with a smirk.

"Original bitch, I've been better. I find out my flesh and bone is mated to the hybrid by someone else and not her, so I feel kind of upset." Damon snapped. I took a step back ready to just hide.

"So much for girls night." I gave a sad smile to Bekah.

"Yeah, I mean I could snap his neck and we could go back to watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer. If that's what you want." She looked at me hopefully.

"Still here you know your grandfather! The only person you need to trust!" Damon yelled at us.

"I know and I apologize for not telling you sooner. I was trying to find the right time to break it to you." I answered honestly.

"So, it is true. You mated to the guy who tried to kill Elena and didn't tell any one. So much for we tell each other everything, Little dove." He scoffed.

Rebekah cut in before anymore could be said, "Hey back off she wanted to tell you but she was terrified of how you would react and apparently her terror was in the right place."

Her neck was soon snapped after that and Damon flashed in front of me yelling, "Do you want to know who I heard it from?" He didn't give me time to answer before he yelled, "Klaus. I heard it from a drunk Klaus!" I was trying to hold back silent sobs as I knew what was soon to come. His voice got calm and quiet as he knelt in front of me, "I know I haven't been the best lately, but it hurt that you didn't tell me. Little dove it hurt."

Something just snapped in me as I calmly stated. "You mean like being picked last when it's just you and Elena in the race. Or getting your hopes up when you asked if I wanted to got see a movie with you only to change your mind at the last second when I'm directly in front of your door ready to go because Elena needs help. Or better yet, start to have a panic attack because I was scared of what you would do if you found out and stay up endless night because I feared the worst would happen if you did. And guess what I was right. Nothing will change. You would rather be with the doppelbitch than with someone who actually needs you and needs the positive attention you bring."

"Wow you really are a bitch. I just thought Elena was making that up because my little dove could never be rude to someone. I guess I was wrong. I never want to see you again.I'm done trying to help you with your fake shit. I'm done with you forever. Goodbye Amelia, goodbye forever." Without waiting for a response he left and drove off.

Tears. Tears ran down my face as I silently sobbed waiting for Rebekah to wake.

'Am I just destroying everything that I touch?'
