Lucy's POV

The next day I was allowed to visit Y/N beside Kaya, when we got there he was awake but weak, I smiled brightly and rushed to his side "Y/N!" I say happily, he smiles

"Hey Lucy... " Y/N says to me weakly, I take his hand and I look at him in the eyes

"Are you okay?" I ask frantically, worried for him, he chuckles a bit

"Yeah... Don't worry.. " he says, I felt like I was gonna cry happy tears but held them back

"I'm glad" I say then I plant a very gentle kiss on his forehead, he smiles and nods slowly

"Yeah... I need to be here for you and our kid" he says, rubbing my stomach, my ear twitches

"I wanted to visit you since I'm leaving the hospital today, but don't worry, I'm gonna visit" I say with a reassuring smile

"Kaya is protecting you... Right?" Y/N asks, I instantly remember when purple guy attacked me and she protected me

"Yeah... " I rub his arm "Get as much rest as you can okay?"

"Alright... " he says, I hesitate to let go since I didn't want to

He almost DIED! I want to stay by his side!!

But in the end I ended up leaving the room and heading out of the hospital with Kaya, she was walking me home while telling me her progress she made while I was in the hospital "I can't find ANYTHING!" she says, clearly pissed

"I'm not surprised honestly, with the way me and purple guy met, you'd think everyone would have an 'accident' when they encounter him" I say, she nods, a minute of silence passes before she speaks up again

"How is the baby?" she asks in a concerned voice

She's actually concerned! No monotone or sarcastic tone!

I grin a bit and I say playfully "Wait a minute... Kaya doesn't give a shit about anything! Who are you and what have you done with Kaya!?" I ask, she gives me a look as if she was gonna knock me out with one punch but instead she grins slightly

"Ah- you caught me! I'm a pervert in disguise!" she says, acting like she's trying to touch me, I playfully yell and then we both laugh

"I can believe that since you just joked back!" I say as we both sigh and calm down, once the smile fades from both of our faces I speak up again, looking at her "But seriously, you've been more protective lately, how come?" I ask, she goes silent

Kaya's POV
