Days get longer in the winter, and in a way so do we.
You see the world slows down during the winter; the night seems to overcome the burning barricades of summer and forces it to descend faster giving way for a slow and cold night.
It juxtaposes its self, for the wintery chill causes a loud night that contains quick noises where the rain and wind, slow as they may be, never allow the darkened noises to be slow.
That means people are constantly fighting for a balance of slow vs quick. That why we allow for the winter to slow us down, slow our heartbeat, our breath, our emotions, our life.
Because a slow winter will give birth to a fast summer.
