Chapter ten

There was a knock on the door and jimin immediately got up to go open it.
Taehyung and Jungkook stared back at him with cheeky grins.

"Come in guys" I said out to them kinda excited to have them over.

"Hello" they both said in unison and I laughed.

Jimin closed the door and sat down on floor so taehyung and jungkook can sit on the couch.

"So the thing is, my girlfriend's birthday is next week and I want to do something special for her. You're a girl so help me out with this" Jungkook blurted out as soon as he sat.

Jimin chuckled and put his hand on the ground and leaned back. "I can't believe you just came over to ask her that".

"Really mate. Why didn't you ask me? You know I am great with surprises" Taehyung said as he lightly punched jungkooks arm.

"Hyung, for the hundredth time, keeping a bucket of ice water on the door just so it can fall on her is not a nice surprise. She would kill me." Jungkook sighed.

I laughed amused by all this. "What?? Ice water?"

"I know right. This hyung gives me the worst advice and I get into trouble with my girlfriend all the time." Jungkook huffed and folded his arms.

I thought he was adorable doing that.

"And the one falling for his ridiculous plans every time isn't stupid?" Jimin teased, his eyes disappearing.

"Ah Hyunnnnngggg" Jungkook whined and everyone laughed.

The next hours went by as I talked about all the possible things jungkooks girlfriend might like considering her personality from what jungkook told me.

"So you mean, I just need to spend the whole day with her making her feel special and have mini events?" He asked scrunching his brows.

I wasn't exactly the best person he should be asking this about.
I had only one boyfriend in the past and he didn't really bother giving me any gifts. But I guess I thought about it like  'if I had a boyfriend, what would I like to recieve'.
I mean who doesn't like to get full attention from their loved one and to be spoilt on their special day right? So I thought I was doing a great job.

What I failed to notice was how intently jimin was listening to everything I said.

"So Leah" Taehyung began, pulling my attention away from Jungkook. "How many boyfriends did you have? You are pretty smart, surely most boys would swoon over you." Taehyung asked with curiosity in his voice.

I chuckled at his question. A lot of people assume I live the life where I go around dating a different guy each week, when in reality I've only had one boyfriend. But yes, I've had a fair amount of boys who asked me out.

"I actually had one boyfriend." I said, smiling at the six pairs of eyes on me.
"He went back to England which was his home. So we broke up, on good terms."

"Oh. Thats kinda surprising. I thought you would have dated about a hundred boys now" Taehyung said taking out a bag of chips out of his hoodie.

Jimin raised his eyebrows. "A hundred? Isn't that a bit exaggerated for anyone?"

"I know right. Hyung even if you want to exaggerate please state a number that is not hard to believe. Oh and wow, did you have that hidden all along in your hoodie??" Jungkook asked shaking his head at Taehyung.

Taehyung opened the packet and started eating chips. "I am telling you, I know some people who have dated 100 people".

Honestly how more random and fascinating can taehyung get?

"What kind of qualities do you look for in a guy Leah?" Jungkook asked taking some chips from taehyung and getting a glare from him.

"A guy who makes me happy" I said thinking about it more. "A guy I can fully trust and is always faithful to me. And other stuffs like being funny and nice I guess" I smiled answering his question.

I noticed how Jimin's facial expression changed at that which was quite weird. He was completely at ease and smiling a minute ago and now he looked uncomfortable and out of place.
"Is eveything alright Jimin?"

"Huh? Uhh... yeah. Fine. Everything is fine" he replied rather dryly. If I knew him better, I'd say something was wrong but oh well, maybe its just in my head.

"I will be right back" Jimin quickly stood up, wore his shoes and went out.

Jungkook and Taehyung also noticed this.
"Maybe he forgot something important??" Taehyung asked Jungkook still munching on his chips.
"Yeah maybe he had dance practice tonight" Jungkook replied to taehyung.

They just nodded their head at what jungkook said, implying that probably was the reason.

About 15 mins later

15 minutes has passed since Jimin said he would be right back, but there was no sign of Jimin.

My phone lighted up with a message notification so I took it. It was a message from Jimin.
"Sorry something came up :) will make up to you later. Tell Jungkook and Taehyung the same as well"

I frowned at the message. As much as I'd hate to admit that I was disappointed that he left, I still couldn't deny it. Indeed I was disappointed he left early.

But why was he in such a hurry? Could something have happened? I wondered..

A/N: what could have made Jimin so uncomfortable he left? Is it really because he had dance practice or......
