Chapter Three.
The Dream.
Octavia's P.O.V
Everything was black. I can see nothing, is this what they call death? No. I can feel myself still breathing. Am I dreaming?
"Octavia." I heard a voice calling out from a far. It was not distinguishable whether it was male or female. I voice had seem to echo.
"W-Who's there?!" I said shakenly yet still managed to force the words out of my quivering lips.
"Octavia." I heard the voice once more. It was
still disoriented and echoed yet I was able to make it out. It was a voice, that of a female. As I turned around in all directions in attempt to find the source of the voice. I saw a woman. She was wearing a white dress. Her blonde hair was swaying in a patch of light and her radiant green eyes were visible with a gleam that had always shined. It was what made her special. Her eyes were always gleaming with joy.
"Mom... MOM!" I had first kept to myself yet yelled
out. I had taken a hesitante step towards her.
"Octavia." She had spoken out in an almost angelic
voice as she smiled as a male figure had come out and hugged her from behind. He had deep blue eyes that shined like the ocean and black hair as dark as a raven, there was no doubt. It was my father.
"MOM! DAD!" I had ran towards them as fast as I
could. Yet when as I ran towards them all I heard was their voices. The last words they had said to me before flight 2101 was lost in the Atlantic Ocean.
"Octavia. We love you with all of our hearts. Stay
safe. We'll be back soon. Bye Tavi. Bye Tan."
Why? Why? WHY?!
"MOM. DAD. DON'T GO! PLEASE. Please... I-I don't want to be alone. I hate being alone..." I said to myself quietly. As they faded out into the distance of my dream. My voice echoed. I was alone, again. I started to feel a tear drop fall as I cried as if I was a little girl who had lost her parents.
"Why are you sad?" I heard a voice in front of me. I looked up to see a man. His eyes was hidden in the shadows of his bangs, though the color was not as visible either due to the fact that he was wearing a beanie. I looked around to see that I was no longer in a black isolated area but instead in a snowy woods. The snow was falling from the sky, it was winter.
"I-I lost my parents. I... I won't be able to see them... Ever." I had grasped my heart in pain. I was rather tense.
"I'm sorry to hear that, but don't cry. A pretty face like yours doesn't need the tears." He had whispered softly. He took my cold hand and rubbed it against his warm one and wiped the tears off my face. I had softly blushed at the fact that he wiped my tears off with his finger. I shivered a bit.
"Are you cold?" The stranger had asked me. He took off his sweater and gave it to me.
"There. That's better." He smiled a warm smile that could have made a heart of ice melt within an instant.
"B-But!" I exclaimed.
"Hmm?" He looked at me wondering at what I was going to say.
"Well... Aren't you going to be cold? I mean it's snowing..."
"Don't worry about me. I have you to keep me warm."
"Eh?" I said questioning what he had meant by that. Until he had decided to hug me. I flushed red on contact when I had realized what was happening. His arms were around my chest.
