To serve as the similar opposite, Ian is like the father of the group and helps to keep them in order and tries to keep them from doing stupid stuff.

Ex:

Ian: *massaging head* I don't care how much you beg Seto. You're not getting anymore sweets for a month!

Seto: *gasps and stares in horror*

He's also know to step in for Ty in hunting down Adam for paperwork when Ty's busy.

Ian's usually more effective in this case.

Ex:

Adam: *squirming in chair tied up* Is this really necessary?
