Mother's Day

{A/N} This does not contribute to the plot of the story. This is a special chapter to celebrate mother's day. I repeat this does not contribute to the plot.

Hoshi's p.o.v

Mother's day, the day I hate most out of the whole year. Why? Because I don't have a mother, a grandmother, or aunt to spend it with. Either way I still go the florist everytime on this day of the year.

I opened the door to the florist. The bell rang signalling that I a humble customer has come. I walked over to the roses, I have brought my mom almost every type of flower, but never a rose. I picked up a rose of every color there. Enough to make a bouquet of roses.

“I see your picking out flowers for you mother again.” I turned around to the store owner. Since I did this every year, the store owner became quite used to me after the third time. “You know kid, I never once met your mother.” I smiled at the store owner.

“My mother…” I paused trying to think of something.

“Her mother doesn't really get to go outside.” I was shock to hear someone saying an excuse for me. What was even more shocking is how familiar the voice sounded. I turned around to face the Shadow King.

“Oh I see. Well kid hope your mother likes the roses. Since you've been such a good customer you can get those for free.” I smiled at the owner.

“Thank you sir.” I held the bouquet of flowers close to my chest. I walked out of the florist, happy to have gotten the flowers for free.

“Would you like a ride back to your commoner dwelling?” Kyoya offered. I shook my head.

“I'd rather walk, besides I'm very hungry.” I walked ahead.

“That's to bad, I'll just give these Animal Gummies to Honey-senpai.” I stopped in my tracks. I know he's bribing me, and I know I shouldn't fall for it, but I really like Animal Gummies. I know I'm weak.

I walked back to where Kyoya was. I looked him straight in the eyes. “How many packets of it did you get?” I asked, this is a very serious business deal. He smirked.

“What don't you see for yourself.” He opened the limo door. There were about two hundred packets. I got in the car careful not to mess up the flowers.

“Kyoya why do you even want to give me a ride?” Kyoya got in the car.

“I promised your father.” That's when I realized I've been trick to go to my father's mother's day party. I've been avoiding this party all of my life.

I looked at the two hundred packs of Animal Gummies. “You did this to me. How could you betray me like this.” I said to the Animal Gummies. “What happened to our friendship?”

We pulled up to my house, and got out the car. I looked at all the stair that I would have to climb, leading all the way up to my doom. The car drove off after we shut the doors and walked up the stairs. You could hear the music, and voices from outside. I sighed. I opened the door there were just so many people.

“Hoshi, my little darling you came!” My dad ran up to me crushing me in a hug. “What made you decide to come?”

“I was tricked.” I said.

“Tricked by who?” My father asked.

“By him.” I said pointing to Kyoya.

“Thanks Kyoya, I knew I could count on you.”

I sighed as I looked around. Everybody seemed distracted and I had nobody to talk to. Even so at least I can give my mother these flowers.

I opened the door and walked to where my mother is. I sat the flowers beside her. She was beautiful, even though she has the same look every time I visit. It's to bad the closest thing I can get to looking at her is a picture. I wish I could hug her, but the only thing I feel is empty. I kissed the picture.

“Happy mother's day, mom.”
