Hestia had English with me and we had decided to run to class. It wasn't far away but we needed to talk to Mr.Zhang. We got to class before everyone else and caught our breath. "Why did you two run here?" Mr.Zhang asked. "We need to talk to you about your dad,"I told him. Mr.Zhang looked stunned, "My dad?" He asked again. "Yes who is he, and please don't lie," I requested. Mr.Zhang contemplated my request and decided to answer truthfully. "My dad is Mars god of war." I nearly passed out. Hestia had to catch me before I hit the floor. "I was right," I muttered stunned. Then louder I said, "Did you used to be a praetor of New Rome?" Mr. Zhang looked shocked before saying, "Yes,I was." I then noticed more kids coming in. I started to feel faint again. Hestia was the only thing keeping me from falling on my face. "Hestia will you please take Selene to the infur- nurse?"Mr. Zhang asked. "But what about class?" I managed to ask. "I think it would be okay to miss in your condition and since I don't think you can walk without help Hestia is excused as well. Besides we won't be learning anything today," Mr.Zhang told me. Hestia helped me to the nurse office and sat me on one of the chairs for students. She sat down across from me and looked concerned. After a few minutes the nurse walked in from a meeting. We knew he was there but we came anyway. The nurse was Dr.Solace-Di Angelo. Once he saw us he immediately ran to me. "Who sent you ?" he asked Hestia. "Mr.Zhang,"she replied. He then muttered under his breath, "Are they demi- no they can't be." I shouldn't have hear him. He was 20 feet away and muttering. I decided to say something, " Excuse me, I heard what you said. Do you think we may both be, demigods?" Dr.Solace-Di Angelo stared at me then said, "How do you know what a demigod is?" I ignored his question while mentally running through some of Apollo's children's names, when it hit me like a brick hitting Jason. I probably shouldn't use that saying anymore, oh well. Agh, stupid ADHD well anyway, this doctor in front of me was no other than Will Solace. I fell out of my chair. Thankfully Dr.Solace-Di Angelo had demigod reflexes and caught me. "Oh my gods," he said. "You have a high fever. You need to go home, now!" "No!" I nearly yelled at him, "I can't go home. This is just a lot to take in." "Fine," Dr.Solace-Di Angelo relented sensing my determination to stay, 'But you have to stay here for the rest of the period." I breathed a sigh of relief, I could stay. I desperately needed to talk to Mrs.Jackson after school to see what she had to say.
