Everything was a slight blur for Moss. Ever since he lost his left side of his face which included his eye he would have to see with his right eye. Apparently there wasn't much materials (according to Rutile) to replace the eye with so they settled to replace it with the pieces of malachite the Lunarian dropped. It wasn't enough to reform the lost gem, so all Moss could do was sigh.
Not being able to see clearly didn't last long as a problem. There goes Labradorite or what most would call him Labra skip into his room blabbing about possible inventions. Labra is Moss's partner (well until...) they are also known as the craftsperson or inventor of the school. They would create things that would be useful for the gems that isn't weapons, since well that's Obsidian's job. Labra is also working on a prototype model for a shield that would promptly protect them from lunarian's arrows.
This time was a little different, he was beaming more and smiling from ear to ear hiding something behind his back. Moss couldn't help but chuckle and hummed "what oh new invention the oh lord of craftiness that your highness brought me today?" he mused in a jokingly manner as Labra plopped the bowl beside him as they took a seat on his bed. "Y'seeeee after your incident whichimverysorryaboutpleaseforgiveme!!! I've heard that you couldn't see clearly soooo, i made a thing!" Labra was practically bouncing. Moss merely tilted their head, eyes filled with curiosity but intrigued, leading to the bowl beside them only for Labra to dive in to cover the top. "nonono!! you may not see yet!! I havnt explained myself!" "alright alright.. calm down a little though you might shake the wholetire school" they both laughed. Moss prepare for himself for a very long "lecture" from Labra about his new invention that would promptly grant him the ability of seeing clearly once more. "well what is i-" "WELL IM GLAD YOU ASKED! Y'SEEE after hearing about your problem i took the task to repay you and try to create something FANTASTIC! And GENIUS! but i didn't know how...until i remembered about my lil ol' "goggles" and so i search for the perfect formula (using Obsidian's and Rutile's help) to enhance one's sight and i think... i got it right!" Labra explained using an exaggerated movement of their arms unveiling the trinket in the bowl. It looked like Labra's goggles but smaller and thinner, the bronze-like metal frame holding up 2 small circle lenses which reflected light. "This is what i called (with the help of sensei's wisdom) 'glasses'! c'mon c'mon try it on!!" the taller gem urged the other as he finally gave in and let Labra put on the glasses.
Moss blinked twice and couldn't believe what they're seeing, amazed. "everything's so clear..." he whispered to himself admiring every ounce of detail he can see. He looked up at Labra beaming and the other gem smirked. "it works didn't it? All this trial and error it FINALLY WORKS!" the multicoloured blue haired gem practically jumped once more proud of their succession. "It seems to work very well but... Labra these kinda seem inconvenient in battle, could easily slip off and break!" Moss remarked as they admires the work of his patrol partner. Labradorite slipped out a defeated groaned as Moss smirked once more. Only to look up beaming with a slight smug look on his face.
"At Least you look cute in them! That's a bonus!"
