Sudden writers block hit me like a truck but i wrote something about my other 2 hnk ocs; Coral & Blue Shell Paua! I hope you enjoy and dont mind the sudden twist! Btw i grabbed this off from my amino so dw if u see it there too!

A red glistening gem fell into the ocean that day. Some thought it was another failure but sensei kept rushing forward. It was sunny and the red humanoid suddenlysubmerged from the waters seemingly lost. Sensei guided it to the shore as the rest stood back. Just as predicted lunarians formed into the sky as a sunspot raining down arrows. The blue gem was hiding behind one of the fellow gems. This blue gem wasn't just blue but contained hues of green and purple, he was curious, soft and the youngest of the gems until now. In fact he wasn't supposed to be out there.
Some charged forward as sensei settled the new gem onto the shores, he swiftly turned and vanished the lunarians in a single swift move. Sensei rushed back to the gem and picked him up as they and everyone else rushed into the school.
An hour passed as Sensei called everyone out into the meeting hall. The blue haired gem waited at the front as Sensei walked in with an unfamiliar face but a familiar red glint. It has round but sharp red eyes, little red freckles and messy but slicked back hair, the blue gem stared in awe and so did the others. The red gem was soon known as Coral. He was soft and have the hardness of 4, harder then blue gem by a half. The blue gem’s name is Paua; Blue Paua Shell with the hardness if 3.5.
Paua was of 13 years when Coral was formed.

Paua quietly looked over the window in his cot as he sketches the outside into the paper. The rough scratchiness of the pen filled the silence in the room. It was the dawn of summer as the sun shined brightly. Echoes of foot clicking against stone halls can be heard, “senior!?” “huh!??” the blue gem looked up hearing the slightly familiar voice hesitantly, they were honestly caught off guard from being called senior, is he getting that old already?? There's no one older then the gem except… “o-oh!” “Did i scare you? Tsk! Im just saying hi” they scoffed. Orange-Red slicked back hair and sharp but round eyes, younger then Paua… “oh hey Coral! Just, caught me off guard really… you don't really talk to me alot” “hmph! There’s only plenty of coral around!” Paua chuckled at the younger gem’s remark, “what do you need?” he asked rather curios why Coral went all the way here now. “w-well you see… CANYOUACCOMPANYMEOUTSIDE?” it took a few seconds for Paua to processed what the red gem said “e-eh!?” “pleaseee Jade said i can't go out alone and it's boring in here and since you're the only one who's not busy and you're older and you're probablys stronger than this lil ol 4, you can take me!” coral begged and whined as paua sat there “..You know i’m not much older and im a 3 and a ha-” “pleeaseeee seniorrr!” he pouted. “... fine” Paua obliged as they headed outside as Coral leaps for joy.
The 2 snuck outside as Paua still kept his clipboard and pen in hand. In his opinion he would rather draw something in person and not outside by the window. “wow! It’s so sunny” Coral remarked which left Paua alerted, it was told that lunarians tend to appear on such occasions. He looked around and saw an arrow flying towards them quickly he used the clipboard to block the arrow. “Coral lookout!” he exclaimed as he blocked the arrow, such impact created cracks as his left hand fell off. The younger gem was stunned, Paua himself was shaken up aswell, being a low hardness it's not that easy to fend off from lunarians. “HEY YOU TWO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE!” exclaimed another gem, Paua couldn't process on who it was as he quickly grabbed his gloved fallen hand and Coral to run back into the school.
“there we go, All cracks patched up and your hand is back together” Rutile noted as Paua slowly raised their arm out and stretched, “thanks Ru!” “...please don't call me that i prefer Rutile, anyways i believe it lead from Coral for this to happen” the doctor shifted his eyes to the youngest with an accusing tone in his voice Coral looked down in embarrassment and guilt. “You two can go now, but don't go making trouble” The 2 nodded as they exit the medical bay. “i'm sorry that happened senior! I swear i'll be able to protect you next time! I didn't realise you were of lower hardness!” Paua laughed amusingly “only if you try and practice yknow~”.
At this point Paua was of 83 years as Coral was in the age of 70 years when they had their first meeting.

“Paua , sensei wanted to meet you down the hall” “oh, um alright?” he got up from the staircase and started to head down the halls. “sense-i!” Paua called out onto the empty hallway before he was promptly ambushed or well more of bumped into an excited Coral. “would you believe that! I got a job!” he promptly lifted his sword “i can fight!” “ooh! Thats cool! But why would sensei give that job to you… despite your nature and hardness” before the red gem answered another voice interrupted them “It’s not really entirely fighting, I noticed how close you two where and Coral’s determination in protecting you, so i gave him the task on watching over you especially there's really no one to do so as well, with you being other of the low hardness gems.” Paua nodded at Sensei’s remark and so did Coral with sparkles in his eyes. As the two were left alone all they can do was smile to each other but then sudden realisation released a pout from Coral. “That means i can fight off the Lunarians,! Even worse i don't even know how to fight!!” Paua laughed “you’ll learn! Especially how you keep staring at the other gems fighting you’ll get the hang of it”
At that point on Paua was at least 157 years while on the other hand Coral was of 144 years when they were paired up together.

The blue gem smiled as he sketched over the empty canvas of his. Round sharp eyes, determined but full of sass, slicked back hair, cute little freckles and that redish orange hue of his. He remembered how it started and how it grows, their friendship and the both of them. Out of nowhere a splashed of water and the sounds of groaning can be heard as Coral submerged from the water like when he was found. "I! Found! The sword!" He grasps as he held the slightly heavy sword into the air and immediately dropping it. The powder were wearing off and some water droplets dripped off the ends of his hair. "goodjob" Paua laughed sarcastically as he silently compared his sketch to the real thing. "Youre not gonna tell anyone right?" "Hmm.. with that look of yours it might be obvious, you're lucky that i brought some powder with me" "yeah yeah, now hurry up before people get suspicious" Paua merely hummed as a response as he gently patted down powder onto the other. Coral muttered something in the words of "i should practice my aim more" or "this is ambarrassinggg" as he looked away sheepishly.
Paua honestly sometimes lost count on the years, but he was happy the 2 of them were standing, alive, well, and not on the moon.
