After stopping at a store getting a pregnancy test, we arrived home.
We walked into my house as the girls ran up to zoeys room to play. Jasmine took the test out of the bag handing the box to Alanis.
"it'll be okay, no matter what." I reassure her as she nods and pulls both of us into a group hug.
"now go..im excited" Jasmine says with a smile causing me and alanis to laugh.
Alanis goes into the bathroom for a few while Jasmine and I wait in the couch. Soon we look over to her standing in the door frame. Jasmine and I stand up going to her.
"what does it say?" Jasmine asks.
"It's positive.." She says almost inaudible.
"Hey hey. it's gonna be okay. We are here for you" I say hugging her as she hugs back and jasmine joins the hug.
"it's just-" she sighs "i don't know how jonah will take it"
"i'm sure he'll be very happy" Jasmine says pulling back slowly as I nod in agreement pulling away. A tear rolled down her face as I wiped it away and she looked down.
"When should I tell him?" She asks.
"Well." I look at Jasmine as she looks at me with a worried expression across her face.
"Can you guys take me over. I wanna do it now and get it over with" She says standing straight looking up.
"You sure?" Jasmine asks and she nods.
"Alright. Let's go" She says as Alanis started to walk to the door and my phone buzzed.
"Hang on." I say pulling it out of my pocket seeing a text from Jack.
Jack: Can I come see Zoey?
"Uh. You guys go, I'll stay here" I say.
"You okay?" Jasmine asks walking towards the stairs.
"oh, yeah. I just got confused. But yeah..tell me how it goes" I say standing straight texting him back.
Lola: yeah
"Bella!" Jasmine calls from the stairs as the girls run down the stairs.
"yeah?" she says.
"we gotta go" Jasmine says laying a hand on her shoulder and bella frowns.
"You can come back tomorrow" She says.
"fine." Bella says and hugs Zoey as I smile at them.
"bye" zoey says with a smile and Jasmine, Alanis, and Bella walk out as I turn to Zoey.
"your dad is coming to see you" I say twirling a strand of her hair around my finger.
"is he gonna pick me up?" she asks.
"nope. he's gonna stay here" I answer as a smile appears across her face.
"yay!" she gets excited and I laugh.
"are you hungry" I say walking to the kitchen as she sits on the couch where I can still see her from where I'm standing.
"uh yeah" she replies and I start making her something.
There was a knock at the door after thirty minutes and I get up from the couch making me way to the door. I go to it and open it seeing jack.
"hey." he smiles.
~Alanis's POV~
Jasmine drove me over to Jonah and I's place. I told him about the baby as Jasmine waited outside. I was so nervous to the point I was shaking. He took it well though, so let's see how this plays out.
