Hi Guys!
Today I have got an opportunity to take an interview of akaggarwal.
• Knowing you:
Q1:What is your real name?
Answer: Anjani Aggarwal.
Q2: Tell us something about yourself.
Answer: I am a lazy ass but once I set my goal I don't stop and give my everything to it. I can do anything for the people I love. Many of the times I speak my heart, so I get involved in alot of controversies.
Q3:Tell us something about your family.
Answer: I am very close to my family, especially my mom, she is like a friend to me, I cant imagine functioning without them. I have a little brother who acts as if I am the younger one. I like being frank with my parents.
Q4: What inspired you to write a book?
Answer: I was never into reading, but once I came across one of the Devakshi ff's on India forums and that got me hooked. Then many ideas started popping in my mind but I was reluctunt to start a book thinking who will read my works. But one day when the fans wanted some story on the swing incident , I thought I should give it a try. People liked it and they wanted me to continue. Then there was no turning back, I wanted to write more and more and express my emotions.
Q5: What according to you should a good book have?
Answer: A book can be stated as a good book when you feel connected to the characters, as if you are the part of the story.
Q6: What is the most difficult thing about writing characters from opposite sex?
Answer: I have majorly written from a female's point of view but whenever I write whether it is from the male or female perspective I write thinking and imagining the respective character so it's basically the same.
Q7: What was your hardest scene to write?
Answer: All the adult scenes were difficult as I am a geek in my personal life so reading a lot of books helped me. The dance sequence from my ff 'Seduction' was a difficult one though as I had to imagine all the steps and write a detailed choreography which took me triple the normal time. And the one shot on Sona's outburst, it was very emotional, I myself was crying my eyes out. But all my hardwork pays as readers love it!
Q8: How has your life changed as a writer after starting writing on wattpad?
Answer: It has changed drastically. I have made new friends, could connect with many people, and most importantly I started reading and writing which I never thought I was capable of. Now I am more addicted to wattpad than Instagram. But I tend to write more if the readers are responding, if response is not good I devote that time to read.
Q9: How long on average does it take you to write a book?
Answer: I take about 2-3 hours to complete a chapter.
Q10: Have you ever been bashed for your writing? how do you deal with it?
Answer: I thank to God that I have never faced any kind of bashing till now. Actually I am okay with open criticism so that I can improve my writing, but if you start bashing me then I would probably ignore that person and would advise him/her to stop reading my work.
Q11: Your hobbies.
Answer: Sleeping, Dancing, Making musically's, reading, writing, talking.....
