on Wednesday he sees a flyer about a missing kitten. The kitten in the photo looks just like willow, it has blue striking eyes and its fur is white with random black spots, it has mira for a name.

Lev convinces himself thats enough reason willow isn't the missing kitten and goes on with his day.

It's a partly cloudy Friday, the sun is about to set and lev is panting because he might have just ran a mile or two to get to the beach to take photo of the sunset, he also might've bumped into a girl on his way but that's irrelevant , the view though is absolutely worth the ache in his lungs and legs.

The clouds are this pretty pinkish purple, and its so mesmerizing to look at, the sun hasn't set yet so the sea is just now starting to reflect the changing sky, its so vibrant yet soft at the same time and Lev thinks hes definitely in love. And as the sun sets, the sky looks more alive than ever and so does the sea as each wave races to the shore unaware of what lies ahead.

Lev thinks these racing waves are a metaphor for some pretty sad reality but he doesn't want to think about it.

"so this is why you were in such a rush earlier huh?" comes a voice from behind him.

He turns around to see the same girl he bumped into on his way to the beach sitting cross-legged on the sand, holding an open book.

"uh yeah", he says starching the back of his head," um sorry again about that, I-"

"its okay" she says cutting him off.

"yeah?"

"yupe" she says with a shrug, and goes back to reading her book.

Lev takes that as a sign that their brief conversation has ended and goes back to walking around and taking photos of the sunset.

as daylight ceases the sky becomes a supernova of merging colours that range from vibrant orange to soft pastel purple and its breathtaking, it goes on until its dark and all the colour is replaced by one bold blue sky, graced with shining stars all over and an even brighter moon.

Lev heads back home.
