"Okay, uh-" I squinted, pretending to struggle reading his name tag. "George? I can explain, the thing is, I uh, I lost my lenses somewhere around here, and I can't see without them, so I uh, really need to find them because-"

His face had whitened significantly, so I dared to stand up, holding onto the counter to support me. "It's okay, kid. I thought you were with that scum", he said, looking with an angry look at the hallway Amilia just disappeared in.

"Oh so that was that noise."

"I'll help you find those lenses, I won't be able to catch her anymore now, anyway."

He let out a disappointed sigh before rolling up his sleeves, as if crouching down was the biggest exercise he'd done in his life. I waited until he was on the floor and then slowly backed away.

"Uh... Maybe I have to look over there to see if I can uh, find him."

I turned around slightly, walking towards where Amilia had gone while also making sure I could still see him, but apparently she had the same idea because when I'd fully turned around, she slammed into me. Before she could react, I covered her mouth with my hand and nodded towards the receptionist sitting on the ground. That's when I noticed the flashlight in her hand. When I removed my hand, she was grinning. She put a finger on her mouth to show me I had to be quiet.

Then she snuck up to the man, who had his back turned to us like the idiot he was.

"You sure you dropped them here, I can't find them maybe you lo-"

He laid on the ground with spit dripping out of his mouth.

"Okay, now we are going to find that goddamn file and get Aidan before the guards find this stupid asshole."

"Let's find the file, then", I said, but Amilia was already on it. I looked at the man, feeling a little guilty, but decided it was necessary to succeed.

"Got it!" Amilia said and she smiled for what may have been the first time ever. It looked so weird on her it threw me off for a moment, but then she was already dragging me along to find Aidan's room.

"It is on the third floor, I suggest we take an elevator."

We ran back to the elevator but when we walked around the corner, I heard the sound of an opening elevator door and the voices of two guards. I took Amillia's arm, dragging her to the door to the stairways.

"I suggest we hurry, it won't take long before they will find George doing his beauty sleep."

By the time we reached the third floor, I was panting, even though Amilia seemed to be fine. Luckily, she didn't comment on it, instead opening the door to the hallway and checking for guards.

"It's safe", she said while see rushed into the corridor. "Let's find Aidan and get the hell out of here."

"What is the number of his room?" I asked her.

"34."

After a bit of looking around, we found the room. One problem, it was locked.

"Well, we might as well go home."

"Not yet!" Amillia said, exaggerating an heroic accent.

"O, of course, how could I forget that Miss Perfect always has a plan."

"Well, at least someone has." Pulling out a key card out of her pocket, she used it to open the door.

"I don't even want to know how you got it."

We entered the room and I noticed Aidan lying in bed. The room all white that it hurt your eyes. there was only one small window with bars before it. The only furniture apart from the bed and a little bedside table, was a chair with a table and a plant on it. For a minute I got worried he was still passed out, because it would make everything a whole lot harder, but then he turned his head and his eyes widened.

"Henry?" he asked.

I grinned at him. "You didn't think I'd let them take you, did you?"

"I mean, they kinda did", he grinned before his eyes shifted to Amilia. "Who's that?"

"I'm Amilia", Amilia said. "I'd love to get to know you better, but we're-"

The three of us stiffened when we heard footsteps behind us. I could see a pair of legs forming shadows on the floor when someone walked by, but they didn't come in.

"Okay", Amilia said, a little out of breath, "let's get out of here."

"Uhm sure, but how? And more important where?" Aidan asked with a hoarse voice.

"Well first of all we need to get you out of this bed, the rest comes later." Amilia said.

I walked towards the bed to help Aidan get out of it while Amilia took her machine out of her pocket and pushed some buttons again.

"What's that?" Aidan asked, staring at the object in Amilia's hand with doubt. She just winked at him. She walked towards us, ready to teleport

"Wait," I exclamated, "is it safe to do this with Aidan in his condition?"

"Well, I don't know but let's assume for a minute it is."

She took our arms and pushed another button. Once again I felt like I was being stretched out wide as we teleported, but it wasn't as bad as the first time.

I couldn't say the same for Aidan, though, because when the dizziness had faded and I looked over at him, he was puking on the floor. Or Amilia, because she laid on the ground with closed eyes. I ran over to her, trying to wake her up. I tried to wake her up by shaking her shoulder but she didn't respond. I checked her heart beat, luckily it was still beating and I saw her chest going up and down. I looked around, wondering where we were. It looked like a cosy living room that looked like it was part of an cottage in the woods.

"What the fuck", I heard from behind me. I turned around and noticed Aidan looking around with wide eyes. "Where are we?"

Just when I was about to answer, a door behind us opened. I turned around and saw a big muscled guy with blond, long hair and a beard standing in the doorway. He stumbled forwards, holding on to the wall with a bottle of mead in his other hand.
