It was the night before Halloween, a thirty-four year old man by the name of Jayden and his wife of the same age, Theresa, bought a house that was located in the forest near the Rocky Mountains. The Lackey family had two children of their own. The eldest daughter, Jamie, would always look out for her younger sister, Danni. The bond between the sisters was unbreakable like a Tungsten sword. As their father was pulling into the driveway, the girls looked at each other and shivered. The house seemed like it was centuries old. The paint on the house was peeling away and damaged from the weather. They may have been teenagers, but the feeling they got was something terrifying. "Look, I know the house is run down, but you girls will love it here. It's isolated so you won't have to worry about bullies or gossip anymore, Danni," Jayden said, looking back at his baby girl. Jamie was in the eleventh grade while her little sister was in tenth. "It's fine, Dad," Danni replied quietly. Jamie hugged Dani. She definitely fought for her younger sister. The group began to get out of the car and grab their belongings out of the trunk when, suddenly, there was a loud crash as a tree fell down behind the house. The crashing sound made the girls jump in surprise. The hairs on the back of their necks stood and their heart rate raced wildly.
