Jayden was in the room he shared with his wife. He was busy nailing the window shut. The window refused to lock and anyone or anything could get in because their room was located on the first floor. It was away from girls so they could have their space upstairs.

Theresa walked into the room. She grinned mischievously and slowly walked up behind her husband undetected. She slowly hugged around his chest. Her nails on his collar bone. He smiled and put his hands on her arms. He had no idea that she was possessed.

"What's got you so lovey dovey, eh?" He asked looking back at the window. He froze when he saw that there was a figure standing behind his wife. He felt the same chill run up his spine that had went up Theresa's just minutes earlier. Her tongue touched his neck as if she was tasting him. He felt tears run down his face. How could he be so dumb? He should have listened to his daughters, but this was his fatal mistake. He mumbled a prayer and closed his eyes. "Theresa...Girls, I'm sorr-"

Before he could finish, Theresa's teeth were sinking into his neck. She let him fall to the floor with a loud thud and creaking on the wooden floor. She began to laugh and walked out of their room and looked at a picture of a woman on the wall. The woman looked as if she had a heart full of hate.

I'll kill you.

Theresa began to laugh again after this thought went through her head. She could feel centuries of hate locked within her heart.

Jamie had a bad feeling in her gut and took Danni by the hand. "We need to get out of here, Danni," she said to her sister. Her face had a look of worry written on it. Danni nodded and the two snuck out of the room quietly. Jamie signaled for her sister to remain quiet and go ahead of her. They went down the half spiraled stairs rather quickly but light-footedly. Once they reached the door, Danni tried to open it but the door wouldn't budge. Danni began to cry and freak out on the inside. As she opened her mouth to wail, she turned back and looked at the kitchen. Their mother could be seen with her hair raised up high and she was turned to the side. "No, Danni, don't look at her," whispered Jamie. Danni's cry was too loud, so Theresa turned her head and saw them. A screech came deep from within her throat and she began to limp quickly toward them. Her hair flying all over the place as if they were Medusa's snakes. The girls screamed and ran up the stairs. Jamie was faster than her sister and made it up the stairs before her. Danni gave a loud scream and attempted to run faster. Once Jamie reached the room, she closed the door and left her sister outside. She had panicked and regretted her actions almost instantly. She was about to open the door when there was a screech, bang, and splatter against the door. She locked the door quickly and backed away toward the window. Her quick thinking made her jump out of the window. She fell ten feet to the bushes below. There was a loud snap. It was her ankle. She gave a scream, but her drive for wanting to survive made her get up and limp away quickly.
