I wake up to a normal day I see the sun shining through the window and I start to wish I were dead. My mind is already filling with thoughts, bad ones mostly welp time to spend my day doing nothing again, just like the rest of my life. I grab my uniform and look at it and think how did I get such a dead end job like Mac Donny's I get dressed and drive to work. Before I walk in some man stops me and says do you want to sign my petition, its for the restoration of the civil war monument down the street. Sure...why not I say in a irritated tone, I write down my full name Ari,p-p-pp-fo-ma-rin? stammering his words. its Phommarinh WITH A P I respond angrily annoyed that everyone gets it wrong. I walk away as he squeaks out a sorry in fear, I didnt care I just kept walking I finally get inside. After a couple of hours of taking orders a girl walks up to the counter I say hi may I take your order she says she will take a number six and I chuckled with extra dip she looked at me confused and said what? Its a salad my face went blank from embarrassment and my voice gets high pitched from nervousness uhh...yeah of course what was I thinking hehe I give her, her salad and I tell Jake I'm gonna take a break dont take long he yells from the kitchen, I flick him off. Now I am sitting in my car trying to stop myself from having an anxiety attack breathing slowly and trying to clear my mind I think i'm good now I say to myself. I walk back in alright i'm back I announce to Jake he doesnt say anything ARI! I look over caught off guard its my boss YOU HAVE BEEN TAKING TOO MANY BREAKS OUT OF NOWHERE,YOURE FIRED but I need this job I try to get out through my voice rapidly getting higher pitched NO BUTS,YOURE OUT OF HERE. I take off my apron and name tag and throw it at him FINE I yell as I bump into his shoulder to leave to the exit. I get in my car and drive home, I open my front door and slam it shut I lay on my bed and stared at the ceiling for hours. It started to get dark now to the point where I need to turn on a light, so I did. Me being the night owl I am, I watched videos on my phone up until 2:00 a.m. My phone is almost dead so I turn it off and plug it into the charger and I go to sleep. I wake up to a loud noise coming from outside my room, I look at my phone and its 3:30 a.m. I see a weird flashing shining under my door and I hear what sounds like muffled screams. I open my door and I am met with crazy strong winds and a bright light coming from my living room I yell WHAT THE HELL! then somebody emerges from the light, but only their top half they are wearing some type of clothing I have never seen before then he starts yelling something MY NAME IS MICHAEL I HAVE BEEN GIVEN A MISSION TO DELIVER THIS TO YOU,BUT PLEASE HURRY THEYVE ALREADY BROKEN IN he hands me some type of crystal like gem glowing blue in the shape of two pyramids connected at the bottom of the base DRIVE THIS THROUGH YOUR CHEST AND YOU WILL GAIN ABILITIES UNFATHOMABLE OH NO THEYRE HERE,HELP USSS and just like that the light disappears and the wind seizes.
