Rushing around the room searching for my bag, I panicked. I am never late for school so it's beyond me why I didn't hear my alarm. Peeking at my clock, it read 7:49. I have 11 minutes to get my ass downstairs, scoff my breakfast and rush to school.

As I jumped two stairs at a time, I darted to the kitchen. Grabbing an apple whilst ignoring fucking Graham, I followed Penny out of the door.

Speed walking towards the bus stop, I hauled myself on the school bus, designating a seat for Pen & I. Squeezing past rude passengers, I managed to find two empty seats. Exhaling a long breath I didn't even know I was holding, I inwardly smirked to myself at my accomplishment to arrive to school on time. Feeling content, I felt at ease until...

"Move your foot fat ass!" A deep, masculine voice boomed throughout the deck. A roar of laughter erupted and it wasn't until Penny nudged me did I realise that the voice belonged to Brittany White and in fact, she was directing her insult at me.

Flushing red as a tomato, I gulped repeatedly. Swiping my foot back under the seat in front of me, I quickly murmured an apology, absolutely humiliated.

I know I must seem like an absolute coward, but I've never cared for confrontation.

Worry etched across every inch of Penny's face. Forcing a smile, I reassured her I was okay.
"Ignore them Brooke, they're talking bull crap."

"I'm fine, honestly. What lessons have you got today?" Changing the subject, I listened intently as Penny talked passionately about her art class, which I found adorable. Although, I couldn't stop thinking about what Brittany said. What have I ever done to her? And more importantly, will she recognise me from now on? If that's the case, I'm not looking forward to the plenty of times where we'll have to see eachother. I've never really been the type to care for confrontation.

She just seems so intimidating. As the bus came to a holt outside the school gates, I let out a sigh of relief as I could finally get out of this hell hole. As I was walking down the bus my feet stumbled on an object, which happened to be one of Britney's little bitches.

"Oh sorry, my bad." she said with a smirk covering her face.

Groaning to myself, I decided to ignore them as I scanned the room for Darcy, Maisie and Imogen.
Spotting Darcy's bleach blonde hair, I waved goodbye to Penny, before waddling over to her.
Tapping her shoulder, she turned around with a warm smile.
"Hey!" She greeted. I returned the king gesture.

"I like your jacket Darc!" She was wearing a cobalt blue, biker jacket. It brought out the light blueness of her eyes. She matched the outfit with a white cami top and acid washed, light blue denim jeans. Her makeup was on par, too. Her bright red lipstick was electrifying and she was definitely eye catching. Her blonde hair was in a high pony tail, but even the simplest style, made her look so fashionable.
"Thanks, it's from Topshop." She bragged. "I like your outfit too!" I knew she was lying, but it was still kind for her to return the compliment.
Looking down at my green and red jacket and white cami top, I glared at my ripped jeans as I knew this wasn't my best outfit.
"Where's the others?" I asked.

"Imogen is somewhere trying to make Carter jealous, as for Maisie, I haven't got a clue."

Shrugging, I replied, "Let's head to home room shall we?"
Following me, we made it to Miss Rivers' class on time.

Not that she would have noticed anyway; all she does is sleep. Sometimes she even drools! It's disgusting! Although she can't teach and I don't know why she hasn't been fired yet, I do have sympathy for her because everyone always plays pranks on her. Such as: putting glue on the desk so when she puts her head on the desk, her head gets stuck. They also stick gum in her hair! Half the time she doesn't even notice and she walks out with little white pieces of gum scattered across her short brown locks.
