I decided to skip the last week of school leading up to summer break because, let's be honest, my mom is not the hardest person to convince to let me stay off school. It wasn't really a challenge; she's too busy focusing on Graham.

Throughout the summer break, my life consisted of: Netflix, drowning out my sorrows listening to Lana Del Rey, food and more food. Oh, and sleep. Lots of sleep.

It was Penny's birthday on the 20th June and we decided to go to an arcade, just like old times. My mom tried to bring Glen but was strongly denied access to seeing him. My dad met us at Taco Bell and bought us a scran of food. I did feel sick afterwards but I wasn't complaining.

Occasionally, I spent a few nights at my dad's house. It turns out he has a gorgeous beach house along the Floridian Coast Line. Due to his guilt, he even let me have my own room in his 3 bedroom suite. I decided on the coral pink-coloured and snow white carpet room. It was average sized with a wooden, king sized bed and a mirrored closet. His plan of bribing my love back was certainly working.
Not being a great swimmer, I only visited the amazing beach twice in my ten day stay. Penny however, constantly stayed over at his place; she's always been a daddy's girl.
Jake only visited once and even when he did it was like he wasn't there; He was too busy texting Jenni as always.

Life back at my house though, was completely different. Mom basically let the underaged manwhore move in with us. His clothes literally take up every draw in my mom's room, he constantly eats the food which everyone knows is my food. Oh and he feels my mom up inFRONT of me, Penny and Jake, showing no sign of remorse. The point is: he's a testosterone, horny freak who needs to evacuate himself from my house.

There was a week until school was meant to begin and I wasn't going to lie, I was quite nervous. I expected most of the student body to transfer to LWHS, but the register said otherwise. Out of 1800 of the students in LSHS, only 900 were actually moving to LWHS. Most students, either moved to Miami State or enrolled in Brinkley High. Not to mention, there was over 1600 students in Hailwood and only 180 of the transfers, were going into junior year.

Because of Glen, I made no effort to interact with my mom, I really disliked her. To make it up to me, she let me buy some new clothes for the new school year. Bribery just isn't going to work. I spent the cash in Forever 21, Topshop and some vintage shops. I decided to buy new black vans, pink and dark blue converse, as well as black Doc Martins. Deciding on buying an ordinary, navy backpack, I was ready to start school.

Well, as ready as you could be.

I'm lying.

I'm not ready.

Tears actually spring to my eyes as I even think of the word "school."

Today's the day. To make sure I was ready and not late, I set my alarm for 5:50AM just to be on the safe side. Having to drag myself out of my orange duvet, I slumped my way towards the bathroom, starting my every day routine. Dashing into the shower, I washed myself for at least twenty minutes, making sure everywhere was shaved and smooth.
Brushing my teeth for a good five minutes, I made sure my breath didn't smell like sour shit as I began on my make up.
I'm not really a make up kind of person, but it's like a tradition to make an effort on the first day. As I applied a thin layer of mascara, a loud knock banged against the bathroom door.

Furrowing my eyebrows, I questioned the outsider. "Who is it?" I shouted as loud as I could for a morning person.

"Jake obviously, what are you doing?" The tone in my brother's voice was the reason I locked the bathroom door.
