Riker Dating One Of His Best Friends

Chapter Seven- Vanessa Marano

I'm starting a show called Switched At Birth. I met the cast members and they are pretty cool. I also met the person who plays Emmett. He's so cute and I think I'm starting to get a crush. I'm all alone at home so I called Sean. The phone rang 3 times.

"Hey." He said when he picked up.

"Hey wanna come over?" I asked.

"Is there anyone home?" He asked.

"No, that's why I called you, silly." I said giggling.

"Cute giggle." He said.

"Thank you." I said while blushing.

"Your very welcome." He said.

"My address is." I said. Than I told him my address.

"I'll be there in about 40 minutes or less." He said.

He hung up as I put my phone in my pocket, and went upstairs to get ready. When I was done getting ready, I went into the living room and sat on one of the couches. 30 minutes later. 

There was a knock at the front door. I got up and answered the door. One of my best friends was at the door. I was shocked he went into my house smelling like alcohol. He pinned me up against the door. 

I was trying to get free. But he was stronger than me. I then tried kicking him in the balls. But that didn't work and he kisses my neck. I was punching, kicking, and screaming. 2 minutes later someone came in from the back.

They came threw the kitchen and I saw who it was. The person was Sean, he tackled my so called 'best friend' that tried to rape me. My friend let go of me and I was so grateful that Sean came when he did.

Or else any minute I would have been raped. I think I'm starting to love Sean. Sean knocked out the guy and he dragged him to the front door and tossed him on the ground. He came back to me and opened his arms. I ran into his arms and he hugged me.

"Thank you Sean for saving me." I said.

"Your welcome." He said.

I cuddle in his arms he's so warm. I cry a little as he kisses my forehead. I smile as I still have tears in my eyes. That was scary though he could have raped me. Or worse like kill me. 

I start crying into Sean's chest. He hush's me well tried to at least. I just want to tell Riker what just happened. But he's on his date. I ball my eyes out as I want Riker. I really need Riker he needs to know. He really needs to know.

"You need to try and calm down." He said.

"I-I w-want R-Riker." I said while sobbing.

"Who's Riker?" He asked.

"M-my b-best f-friend." I said still sobbing.

"What's his number I can call him for you. If you want me to." He said.

I give him my phone. He takes my phone and looks threw my contacts. Until he finds Riker's name. He clicked Riker's name and dialed his number. The phone rang 3 times. Sean put my phone on speaker.

"Hello? Nessa are you okay?" Riker asked sounding worried I couldn't speak. I was to busy sobbing.

"Hey Riker this is Vanessa's friend Sean can you come to her house? She's a crying mess and she told me she wanted to talk to you." Sean said.

"I'm on my way." Riker said.

Than he hung up as I was still a crying mess. Riker is like a brother to me. Well all the Lynch boys are along with Ryland and Ross Moon. Mark is like a second father to me. Stormie is like a second mother to me. 

Rydel is like a sister to me. But me and Riker go way back. I met him before Laura, Ryder, Nila, and Amber did. I kinda did have a crush on him in the past. But since I know he has always liked Ross. 

I stopped having a crush on him. Well I tried to at least. Riker came barging in like he always does. I let go of Sean and run into Riker's arms sobbing again. I'm closer to Riker than any of his siblings even Ryland, Ross and my siblings.

"Now what the hell happened?" He asked.

"She was like this after I came back from knocking a guy unconscious." Sean said.

"Sh Ness everything is going to be okay, now calm down." Riker said.

I try to calm down then I finally did after a few minutes. I snuggle into Riker's arms as I caught my breath. I need to tell him what happened. I love Riker as a brother he's my best friend. I tell him almost everything.

"Now can you tell me what happened?" Riker asked.

"You know my best friend that I haven't seen in forever?" I asked.

"The one that is an alcoholic?" He asked.

"Yeah him." I said.

"What did he do?" He asked.

"He almost raped me." I said.

"HE DID WHAT?" Riker asked sounding angry.

I cry in his chest again. He picks me up as he walks with me to the living room. He lays down on the couch. He pulls me on top of him. He plays with my hair to try and get me to calm down again.

I snuggle into Riker's warmth as I start sobbing. I hate crying so much as I also hate this so called "friend" I had. I could of been killed if not pregnant with his kid who knows? But I'm glad Riker is here.

"Sh Ness it's all over now he can't hurt you." Riker said.

"I came just in time to before he could do anything else." Sean said.

"Thank you for saving Vanessa for me I appreciate it." Riker said.

"Your welcome, and by the way my name is Sean, I play Emmet in Switched At Birth, that's how I know Vanessa." Sean said.

"I'm glad you came here when you did." Riker said.

"I am too." Sean said.

"How did your date go with Ross?" I asked.

"It went very well I asked him to be my boyfriend."  Riker said.

"Who's Ross?" Sean asked.

"Ross is my best friend and my band mate." Riker said.
