Ava's POV

It was Colby's and I's 6 month anniversary. We went to a fancy restaurant and talked about everything for a while and after we took a walk on the beach. It was our safe place if that makes sense. We drove for a little while untill we finally got there. He said he has to blindfold me which I thought was strange but eh whatever he did say he has a surprise I'm kinda excited.

We finally get there after what seems like forever. He puts the blindfold on me and guides me to the beach where he had a little area with twinkling lights, blankets, pillows and drinks. There were rose petals shapped into a heart around everything. I instantly started to cry.

"Baby, Baby what's wrong don't you like it?" Colby asked

"I-I love it! That you so much" I said and kissed him on his soft plump lips.

"I have something else" he said

He got down on one knee and said...

"Ava Marie Rae I've loved you sense the day we met. You are my rock. You make me a better person everyday. I love you for it. Now this is just a promise ring. But eventually in the future I want it to become a engagement ring. Now here's to 6 months and to the future!!"

I looked down at the ring smiled and cried some more then I was. I pulled Colby up and kissed him and said it's perfect.

The rest of the night we slow danced on the beach, talked. Laughed and talked about when we first met.
