Ruby had more to tell me after I consoled her in the bathroom so we spent the rest of the lunch hour in the bathroom, her telling me the details of her and Matt's relationship. Three words to describe what I felt afterwards.
I was pretty upset.
I practically ran across campus to where I knew my brother would be. I entered Jackson Hall and walked to where his group usually hangs out by the Physics classrooms. Once I had him in my sight, I stalked over to him like a madwoman and pushed him against the lockers with a loud BANG.
"What the heck is your problem?" I seethed at my wide eyed, varsity jacket wearing, idiot head of a brother.
"Sis?" He gaped."Why aren't you wearing...you know?" He whispered. I rolled my eyes.
"Things got complicated." He chuckled but I just shoved him again."Why the literal poop did you not tell me about Ruby?" He went pale.
"How do you know her?" I smiled at him, tightening my grip on his collar.
"I had a little heart to heart with her in the bathroom while she was crying her eyes out, you sicko." His eyelids drooped and he frowned.
"Is she okay now?" He asked worriedly. I rolled my eyes." I don't know! Her boyfriend of TWO YEARS just dumped her because his daddy said so! I think any girl would be peaches and cream right now if they were in the same situation," I explained. His frowned deepened." No you little butt hole." I rolled my eyes."Of course she isn't okay!" I release my hold on him and his friends audibly relaxed behind me.
"Look what else was I supposed to do? He found us kissing in the driveway the other day! He didn't want me to have any distractions." He muttered."I still love her but I can't have her as my girlfriend right now. What's done is done, sis." He tries to push past me but I push him against the lockers again.
"Can you please stop that!" He exclaims.
I shoot him a fake half smile." Why would you let Dad, of all people, tell you what to do with your life? If you love her then you wouldn't have broken up with her! She is a great girl and you deserve somebody like her. You don't find that in many girls these days. Please can you at least just make things right with her?" I plead. He sighs but nods his head.
"Alright."
I release him and give him quick goodbye. His friends are just staring at me when I turn around so I smile, wink and say,"Boys," before heading in the direction I came from.
Mission accomplished.

Coach Marks' was famous for his pep talks. Our first game was next week and Coach wanted us to be prepared against our rival school.
"Okay I expect everyone here bright eyed and bushy tailed tomorrow morning!" Coach said, his voice echoing in the gym. We all nodded. "Okay dismissed."
Everyone rose from their seats, some grumbling about sore butts. In other words, I was complaining about my sore butt. I slowly made my way into the locker room where I heard some strange noises.
Knowing I would regret it, I followed them and what I found nearly made me scream and pee my pants.
If I wasn't for the fact that I burst into tears of guy wrenching laughter first.
