Another day had passed and still no sign of One Direction.

I am readying my heart because there is a big possibility that One Direction-- is gone for good.

I woke up and checked the time-- 3pm.

I went downstairs to eat my late breakfast consisting of Special K cereal and milk when I saw an attached post it note on the fridge door.

"Be back later, okay? Don't skip dinner, I bought readymade food. It's in the freezer. Love mom."

I sighed in defeat and continued eating my cereal when the telephone rang.

I went swiftly to the living room carrying my bowl of cereal and answered the phone.

Me: Hello?

Victoria: I'll be there in 5!! I am so excited!!

Me: Five minutes?! You're kidding me, right??

Victoria: Uhh.. no. It's already 3pm. Wait, don't tell me--

Me: Yeah, I just woke up.

Victoria: Well, get ready already!!!!

Me: Alright, alright.

I swiftly finished my cereals and went to my bedroom to take a bath and change my clothes.

I managed to shower in two minutes, and thank God I still have spare time to change into my clothes.

I chose a yellow V-neck shirt and tan khakis then wearing my Converse sneakers, tying my hair into a bun to make my look simple and mess-free.

Just in the nick of time, the doorbell rang and I sprinted down the stairs only to see Victoria, dressed as a Barbie doll tapping her shoes on the pavement infront of my door.

"You are so slow." She grumbled.

"Hey, you just arrived too, you know."

"You're right, anyway, let's go already!" She said, pulling me into her hot pink convertible.

She drove off as I seeped in all the polluted air of this place.

"You know, I'm actually excited to go this so called amusement park of Route 56." Victoria chuckled.

"Me too. They say it's as big as Disney Land, although I doubt that because of our resources." I replied.

"Yeah, the least they can do is build an amusement park in the middle of the town." Victoria chuckled.

"Atleast they're improving the place." I chuckled.

"I guess, but really? Sometimes I wish this town could be a lot more-- active."

"I know what you mean. That's why I've decided on leaving this dump and go somewhere like New York or Hollywood where it never sleeps." I said, daydreaming about the sparkling citylights of New York.

"You mean-- the city."

"Yeah... It's been my dream eversince."

"Me too. But you know how it is, my dad is old and he's the only family I got left I can't just leave him! Considering all my heartless older siblings left this town leaving him broken hearted. As much as I want to, I can't. But what about your little sibling still inside your mom's belly. College is next year. You won't be able to spend that much time with him or her, "

"You got a point." I sighed.

"Anyway, any news about that Direction thingy?"

"Nope." I said, popping the 'p'.
