"Game on!?" *makes her wear the hand band*

"I dare you to not show me your face for the next two year. The game will never be on now" *breaks the band*

Sometime before,
Next day shivay didn't pick Anika, because he was still angry on her. Anika was heart broken completely now, she still gathered some courage to go to university and try to behave normal. Her eyes were moist, she was trying hard to control her tears. While in class Shivay and Anika both were sitting at different corners of class and didn't even had a talk before lecture. When the lecture ended, Anika tried to talk with him but he pretended to be busy with Shrenu. The other lectures went on like so and Shivay was still angry. In break time, Kunal and Shrenu tried to talk with shivay about the matter and convinced him to have a word with Anika about last night.

After much insistence shivay agreed being unsure about how he would start the conversation. He went and sat beside Anika, still silent. Anika also preferred to remain silent being unsure of his anger. Shivay finally broke the silence and spoke up "Why did you do that last night?"

Anika had no answer to the question, she tried to cover up "I thought you loved accepting my dares, but it was not the case this time"

"I still do, but I never appreciate such dares"

"I know it was my mistake, but how will I repent my mistake until you give me a chance to speak"

"Did you ask for it?"

"You should have understood" she turned towards the window.

"Now are you planning to stay angry on me because I was angry on you? C'mon this is a lame reason. Find something better next time"

"What do you mean huh? Do you want me to be angry on you?"

"Now don't go off the rail, be on the right track! Why would I want that"

"Huh, whatever"

Shivay mentally thanked Kunal and Shrenu for insisting him to talk with Anika which helped him to mend their friendship.

Their friendship was back on the right track now. There was a that hope it won't go off rail anytime soon.

Months went on the same way. Shivay and Shrenu were still sticked to their plan. Anika still used to be jealous of Shrenu and Kunal was almost ready to confess Shrenu his love. The jealousy plan was working well for Shrenal but not for Shivika, for it may become the reason of their seperarion.

At the year end, students were given few assignments and also internship offers. Shivay was really into internships and wanted it anyhow. He made sure to work on assignments really well to bag up the opportunity of internship offer. He worked really hard for it and also took Shrenu's help for it to hit two shots with one arrow. He would implement his plan and also Shrenu would be of good help to him in his assignment. So Shrenu started helping shivay out in his assignment. Anika thought it otherwise, and believed that shivay was helping Shrenu. She was already jealous and so decided to do something that would make Shrenu lose the internship offer. Little did she knew that it was Shivay's assignment and not Shrenu's.

On the day of submission, Anika tried to swap the actual folder with an empty folder. Shivay went to present his assignment to the special guests and was astonsihed to find the folder empty. He tried to recollect the events that happened since morning and realised that he had met only Anika since morning. He considered her as his best friend and couldn't really doubt her but the only person he thought was Anika. His heart didn't believe it but his brain did. After apologising to the guests and respective professors shivay asked Anika to meet him at the terrace.

Anika still didn't know that the blunder she did was not for Shrenu but for Shivay. She happily went to the terrace and saw shivay waiting for her already. He was looking quite angry. She thought it was because of some random reason because it was pretty normal for Shivay to get angry.

She asked shivay the reason why he called her there.

"Did you swap the folder" He asked directly in rage.

"Wh..why are you asking this?" Her voice trembled witnessing Shivay's rage.

"Answer me!"

"Yes I did but wh.." *cut by shivay*

"Why did you do that? You knew I was working so hard for the assignment. Because of you the internship offer went off my hands"

"Wh..what are you sa..saying? Wasn't it Shrenu's as..assignment?" She broke into tears.

"No. You have lost your brain."

"I thought it was Shrenu's assignment, and I didn't want to let her bag up the offer"

"Who stuffed this thought in your brain?"

"What are you saying shivay?"

"Do you even know how I hurt I am because of this act of yours? This was not imagined by me even in my wildest dream. I thought you were my maker, but no, you were just a breaker"

Shivay started singing "Its a shaker, but I've found a new faker. I thought her as maker, but she was only a breaker"

"Shivay, please listen to me, I am sorry. I admit I did a mistake but.."

"Not every mistake is forgivable Anika, not every mistake" he said emphasising the word mistake making Anika remember her previous mistake.

"I know but let me explain it at least"

"I don't need any explanation, I don't. Whatever needed to be spoken is spoken already, now it's over. This friendship, the fake drama, fake concern everything is over. You get to your way, I'll go on my way and we'll lead life differently"

"Shivay please don't say so, I would jump off the terrace if you do so"

"Really? You wanna do this? Then go for it" He continued, "I dare you to jump off from the terrace"

"Dare accepted" she spoke up being hurt.

"Game on!" *makes her wear the hand band*

"Not yet Shivay" She was prepared with a dare "I dare you to not show me your face for the next two years"
She still had something to say, "The game will never be on now" *breaks the band*

Shivay was shocked hearing to her words while Anika sticked to her words and jumped off the terrace. The terrace was on 3rd floor and she fell right on ground, with no chance of her leg bones to be still joint. Shivay couldn't do or say anything because everything happened just so quick that he could do nothing. He quickly ran away from the spot unwillingly because if he would stay there be would want to meet Anika which shouldn't happen till next two years.
