"Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Bear, happy birthday to you!" the excited parents sang away as they cheerfully entered their baby boys bedroom who turned one today. Getting a cheeky smile in return from their son, Cheryl and Liam both glanced at each other with beaming smiles on their faces as life right now really was perfect. They had had the best year of their lives as their own little family, Bear was everything they could've ever wanted and more and things were only looking up for the loved up couple.

"Hey little guy! Oh my god, stop growing already!" Liam giggled as he gently picked his son out of his cot to embrace him into a tight hug. This being Liam's favourite part of everyday, being able to see his sons face waking up every morning as Bear was always a happy soul when waking up. "I swear he's grown an inch more since when we put him to bed last night!" Liam over exaggerated as he turned to Cheryl in awe of how big and heavy he was getting. Although Cheryl seemed to be in her own little world as she wasn't engaged in conversation at all. Though, she was reminiscing on the past year and how her life took a major turn for the better ever since meeting Liam and giving birth to Bear. She couldn't quite get her head round to how she'd ever been so lucky to go from being a weak, sorrowful woman, coming out from her second divorce, to then finding the man of her dreams and finally having her aspirations fulfilled and becoming a Mam to her precious son. This time two years ago Cheryl was wondering if there was any point in carrying on with anything anymore as she hit rock bottom, hard. She wondered how it would ever get better and it seemed to be an all time low she couldn't escape from, but now, two years later she glanced to her left to see her handsome boyfriend and beautiful baby boy in a tight embrace. It really was true that everything happens for a reason, everything that had gone wrong in Cheryl's life had brought her to this very moment right here and she wouldn't have changed any of it as right now this was everything she ever could've wanted and more. After being deep in thought for a while now, a diamond tear was forced to over spill from her eyes and roll slowly down her cheek as a wave of emotion crashed through her body. She gently felt one of Liam's strong, muscular arms wrap round her waist as his other arm pressed up behind her holding baby Bear, who was now leaning over her shoulder, nuzzling his head into the crook her her neck causing a contented sigh to slip from her mouth. Cheryl loved how protective Liam was of her and she always felt safe whenever she was with him. He was always there for her no matter what and her shoulder to cry on whenever she needed it.

"What's brought this on hey?" Liam softly spoke as a concerned expression appeared onto his face. He cared for Cheryl so much and seeing her upset would be the last thing Liam would ever wish for her.

"I'm just so happy right now... thank you for giving me everything I could've ever wanted and more" Cheryl responded truthfully as it really was how she felt. The feeling of concern disappeared from Liam and instead was replaced with satisfaction. A tender smile appeared on his face as making Cheryl happy was his top priority and seeing her content was the most important thing to him. She had never been this happy in her whole life and it was all because of the man whose arms she was safely wrapped in right now. Liam had no words or actions to respond other then to lean over her shoulder more to give her a loving kiss. As their tongues caressed one another's a thousand words were told and there was no need for any words to be said as they both knew the love they had for each other was never ending. Slowly, the couple were forced to be brought out of their loving trance as their son started poking their faces causing them giggle. "I love you Payno" Cheryl whispered keeping close contact with Liam's mouth.

"Guess what?" Liam smiled, stroking his finger across Cheryl's cheek to wipe one of the small tears that managed to escape from her eyes. Cheryl chuckled at him, loving how he always knew how to make her smile even in times of seriousness like this one.
