A New Beginning

My head started hurting after healing the babies. Then I got this headache and started coughing. My chest started to hurt so I tried to rest but I became very sleepy. All of a sudden there was darkness. Nathen's minds is racing and he knows something's wrong. He got Matt who hesitated then healed my body but I still can't wake up. Then realized there was something wrong with my head he's tried messaging me but he can't hear my responses. They try to wake me but still I can't wake. Until the babies cry and something triggers me to wake, bringing me out of the darkness. My eye snap open as I sit straight up gasping but Nathen grabs ahold of me.

Oh thank God! You scared the shit out of me!

I turn toward the babies but he tells me they're okay. Matt soothes the babies and then comes back to me.

Stop blocking dad! Leave your mind open or you're going to hurt yourself!

He demands as I sigh and lean against Nathen.

How's Tiff and the baby?

I ask but he frowns

She's fine. We have a son we named him Easton Michael and he's doing great to. Now that you're better I'm going to be with them, where I belong...

He says sarcastically so I nod but Nathen walks with him to the hall. It's been a long day so when Nathen comes back he lays with me.

Are you feeling okay? You know you can tell me anything and you don't have to block me right?

I keep the thoughts hidden but smile.

I know honey. I guess all the stress today got to me.

The nurse walks in then taking Scarlett and Spencer to the nursery for our families to see them. He kisses me softly and smiles.

This is a new beginning for us honey.

I say as I snuggle into his chest. He rubs his hand down my hair then kisses the top of my head.

Yes it is sugar and as long as we have each other we can get through anything.

I smile and try to rest as I think about my babies.

Tiffany and Matthew are taking Easton home today. Her parents were shocked to see that he was born with wings and that Matt was able to heal her. So she looks like she never had a child now. We celebrate our children's arrival then Matt insist on bringing the car instead of flying him home. I'm getting out today to with the twins so Nathen left with Matt to get our car as well. The nurse sent a donor in for Tiffany but apparently she wasn't thirsty so the girl just say there waiting for Matthew to get back. That is until she became curious about Easton.

Does he drink like you do?

She asks looking at Tiffany curiously who picked him up feeling inside his mouth and getting bit.

Yes he does. Would you like to be his first?

She offers.

Sure.

Tiffany gently carries him over opening his little mouth teaching him to bite. He clamps down and started drinking. Then starts to grow. Soon the girl moans so she pulls him away then wrap her wrist while Easton sits on her lap clapping and smiling joyfully. Tiffany wipes his mouth and he smiles as the nurse walks back in but she stares at them.
