It's been a few days since we all went out but I've noticed Jill and Kevin spending a lot more time together. I've also noticed that it pisses Stephen off. I hired another young woman to help in the stables and she caught Joe's eye right away and him hers. They've been together ever since. My Rosa's taking a shower so I'm waiting for her to meet me for our community meeting.

We don't want the humans here. They're throwing off the balance of our lively hood.

Someone yells as Rosa walks in and the room goes silent so I turn to see her in a blue dress and all fixed up.

You will deal with the human because you have no choice. We must stand together united. If one of us fall we all do. We will not tolerate any wrong doing. You have your donors be grateful for them and treat them well. This discussion is over.

She demands then turns and sits like she had said nothing with a smile in her face. Some of the people step back while others sit down. The power in her voice rocks the room. I hadn't noticed it before now. A few other question came then everyone leaves and I turned to Rosa.

You look very, very nice. May I ask what the occasion is?

She smacks me and stomps off upset. I can usually hear her thoughts but she's been focused on this damn meeting. Then Crissy walks in and starts cleaning the room. I rub my cheek and walk over to her.

Crissy? Did Rosa say anything to you about today?

She shakes her head grinning.

No but she looks like she's ready to go out. Is it her birthday or something?

I think about it for a minute before realizing what today means to her.

Holy shit today's our anniversary!

I say taking off up the stairs as Crissy looks outside to see Stephen pulling in. He just took someone else home. I get to our room and quickly change then try to find my Rosa but she's gone so there's only one place left to look. I take the stares to the roof and there she sits. I pull my jacket off.

Fly with me?

She looks at me ready to cry then refuses.

What about the humans? They might see us.

I shake my head.

Let them. They're replaceable. You my love are not.

She smiles leaning over to kiss me as I pull her up. I take my shirt off as the wind blows. Our feathers ruffle and she giggles before we take to the sky. The wind feels so good on my wings. I soar high up in the sky and I enjoy myself. Rosa watches me as we enjoy flying together then we head back home. We land on the roof where I kiss her but then we hear footsteps rushing towards us. I pull my shirt on leaving it open and we lay on my jacket kissing as Stephen runs out.

Oh, shit. Sorry! Did you see those things? They were fu... freaking awesome!

He turns to leave looking at us again as I pulled her skirt back down. I hadn't realized how much I'd already pulled it up.

We saw them. Why? Do you want to meet them?

I ask and his eyes get huge.

Are you serious?! Hell yes I wanna meet them! Do they talk?!

I laugh.

Close the door and sit down. Nathen take your shirt off baby.

She insist so I smile pulling my shirt off showing off my body and making Stephen frown.
