Jasper X Reader - Loyalty

(Readers P.O.V)
I sighed, putting away my phone. I was in the guest room of my cousin Connies house, which was small and plain. I love my cousin dearly, but she gets sidetracked easily, which means I'm normally left alone. I left the house, searching for something to entertain me. Beach City seemed void of people which weirded me out. I ended up leaving Beach City, my curiosity getting the best of me. I kept walking until I heard a loud thump, which scared me badly, and sent me running. What was that? Is it dangerous? Not looking, I ended up running into someone.
"Ah! Oh goodness I am so sorry!" I stammered out, looking at the thing I bumped into.
"Look where your going ru-" I presumed she was going to say 'runt', but she stopped herself. She stared at you with complete surprise. I quicky took notice of her nose being a gem, which intrigued me.
"What are you!?" She said in a rough tone, presumingly to make herself seem intimidating.
"A...human? Who are you...?" I answered quietly, seeing as I didn't want to challenge her.
"I am Jasper, one of Homeworlds best soldiers." Jasper replied confidently, showing off her status.
"What's Homeworld?" I asked, interested in where she came from. Jasper explained Homeworld, with obvious bias threaded into the facts she was stating. She also explained gems, their purpose, and the Diamonds. I was very interested in the Diamonds, especially Pink Diamond. Again, she was very biased, seeing as she said only praises and no complaints at all. The conversation went quiet for a second, before Jasper revealed to me that Pink Diamond was shattered. I knew that shattering meant death, so I was shocked to hear a Diamond, being powerful and unbeatable, was shattered by a gem. A Rose Quartz. I quickly learnt that Rose Quartz was on Earth, and was very dangerous. Jasper saw how frightened I got, seeing how a very dangerous gem was roaming on Earth. My home. She could come behind me and kill me at any moment! Suprisingly, Jasper gently patted my back.
"Human, I may not have known you for long, but I will protect you from Rose Quartz! Someone as intelligent as you shouldn't be living in fear!" She announced, a smile forming on her face. A smile formed on my face too, realising that I had someone I could depend upon.

I wonder how I'm going to explain my new friend to Connie...
