(chpt 8) tea

BELLA POV

We hear the bathroom door open and Calum walk out. He only had some sweat pants on with his boxers hanging out the top. if I do say so myself he is fine.We didn't say anything though we just watched him sit next to me. He gave us a weird look but we just turned our heads back towards the tv. Ashton was playing by himself and I was eating some pizza and Calum was on his phone.

"looks like it is going to thunderstorm guys."

I scoot over and look at his phone for myself and ashton pauses the game and looks too.

"holy shit. it's going to come hard" as soon as Ashton said that a big clap of thunder came.

"Uh Bella, we might want to head home.We don't want to drive with all the idiots when it's thunderstorming."

"yea, I guess so." I stand up and look down at Calum, he seems upset.

"Why don't we finish this on Friday? And we can have everyone over, yea?" I suggest. Calum looks up at me and smiles.

"Sure!" Ashton stands up too and grabs his car keys from his pocket. Another big clap of thunder came through the sky. And we all looked out the window. It wasn't raining yet but it was really dark. Calum stands up and we head to the front door.

"Bye Calum!" I give him a right hug.

"Bye Bella, thanks for helping me out with Kate." He says in my ear.

"It was not a problem!" I let go of Calum and tug on my jacket and prepare to run outside bc it's now a steady rain. Ash and Cal say their goodbyes.

"Ready?"I look at Ashton. He nods and I open the door and run for the car. I try to open the car door but ashton is still trying to get the button, but he fucking drops the keys.

"ASHTON!"

"IM SORRY IM SORRY!" He bends over and picks up the keys and just uses the key to open the car and he slides In and then pushes the button for me to get in. I yank the door open and jump in the seat and slam the door. I buckle up and so does Ashton.

"Oh my god." Ashton says as he puts the key in ignition. I am taking my clothes off of my skin. And wringing out my hair.

"ugh. Get me home Irwin." I say and lean my head back and close my eyes.

"Will do Wilson." He backs out of the driveway and we head down the road.

"I'll walk you in Bella."

"Oh you don't have to do that, i'll be fine."

"Eh, i know but i want to."

"OK, whatever you want Irwin."Ashton turned off the car and puts his keys in his pocket.

We make into the lobby of the apartment buildings. Without getting wet. Perks of a parking garage.

"Oh, my god."Ashton says as he looks out the window. It is pouring, hard.The skies are so dark, and the wind is blowing.The New York streets are pretty much bare. Those few people finding their car in their drenched clothes or broken umbrellas. I chuckle at the thought. Ashton looks at me and i make eye contact. BUt then i break away when a big clap of thunder came, and lightening lit up the whole sky.

I walk up to the elevator and press the button.It opens right away.We step inside and push the button of my floor. It's a silent ride but its a comfortable silence.

We make it to my room and search for my keys in my bag. I pulled them out and opened the door. I went to my bedroom and put my stuff down.

"Hey Ash?" I wait for an answer.
