"Shan.....Someone help pleasee" I screamed as tears rolled from my face and into her opened wounds. I screamed and screamed but no one answered to help. Me and Shan was just there without help.

"Come on Shanteaya stay with me dont go" I continued as I watched her gasp for air. We starred into each other eyes then suddenly she stopped breathing and her eyes closed.

"Noo noo noo Shan youre strong comeon keep fighting. Wake up please." There was no response. I was so lost and stuck in the moment that calling the cops didnt even come to my mind.

I cried harder as I watched the blood spill from the side of her head and her stomach. I finally came back to reality and stood up, shaking the blood off my hands. I pulled out my phone and dialed 9-1-1.

A little after the call the cops ambulance and fire truck came. The cops questioned me but it was one weird cop that questioned me more then the others. The paramedics had already taken Ashanteaya to the hospital so it was jus me the cops and a bloody scene.

The officer that questioned me more than the others name was Officer Jocob. He constantly asked me what happened and looked a little nervous. I dont know what it is about him but he seems a little off. Eventually he took me to the hospital, where they had taken my bestfriend.

"Hello ma'am how may I help you?" The lady at the desk asked.

"Im here to see Ashanteaya King." I replied.

The lady gave me a blank and saddened look. Instantly my entire soul left my body and my heart dropped the way her face looked when I mentioned her name. I starred back and almost cried.

"Whats your name?" She questioned

"Teyah Wilsin"

"Relationship??" She questioned again.

"Bestfriend"

"Come with me ma'am." She said leaving from behind the desk. We walked down a couple halls and made a few turns before we made it to her room. I looked from outside of her room. Theres cords all over her a breathing machine and tubes going into her mouth. Her head it's wrapped and so is her stomach.

"She was injured pretty badly and might not make it through the rest of the week. She has approximately 3days to live. With any luck shell wake from this coma, we'll have a miracle and she remembers what happened." The doctor said starring in my eyes.

I looked and walked in her room as the doctor rubbed my back before walking off. I got a better glance at Ashanteaya and took ahold of her hand. I starred talking to her as I cried. As time oassed us by and it got late I pulled a chair up to the side of her bed. I listened to the sounds of the machine and eventually I fell asleep.

Waking up to the sound of movement thinking it was her when really it was the doctor checking on her. I never let Shans hand go. The doctor looked up and smiled but I looked over and cried. After the doctor left out I felt her twitch. I looked up and looked at her, she was trying to open her eyes. Ashanteaya squeezed my hand as more tears rolled from my eyes.

"To-top ryin eBaby" She said stumbling over the tubes in her throat. She squeezed harder as she spoke. Although I could barely understand what she was saying it felt good to know that shes still talking, better yet alive.

"SHANNN" i screamed quietly. She then looked at me and closed her eyes again. My happiness soon got lost as I called her name again and she didn't respond. I held her hand tighter and she twitched. I laid my head on our hands and started to cry again.

What sounded like her trying to say 'I love you', I replied with a 'I love you too'. She then took a deep breath and whispered "ood ight". I looked up as her grip on my hamd loosened and her machine started beeping really fast.

Suddenly all I could hear was 'BEEEEEEEPPPPPP' from the machine and the doctor on the intercom say "code blue room 126A ,code blue room 126A". Immediately doctors came rushing in and started helping Shanteaya. Another doctor pulled me out the room as I yelled what's happening to her. She pushed me out the room, went back inside closed the door along with the blinds. Again, I was left alone with no answers to what was happening to my bestfriend.
