morning came and lisa had to hurry for class. she stayed up late watching her favorite netflix series and she seriously regretted it the first thing in the morning.

she literally had ten minutes before class and she did not bother taking any breakfast, even though it is not a good help since she's gonna be late even though she'll double her time fixing and doing things before she goes to school.

panting and sweating, lisa arrived her class, biology to be exact. she greeted the teacher a breathless good morning before she sat on her seat and catch her breath.

lisa did not bother to listen anymore since she was still tired from all the running and she felt restless because of her lack of sleep but she had to be active and productive until the end of the day.

afternoon came and no history classes for today, lisa had two hours vacant and she would likely spend it on her favorite spot in the school, the library.

she placed her bag on her usual seat, darker and isolated than the othersㅡ before finding a good book to read. lisa may find books boring but she's lying if she tells it doesn't pique her interests.

a fake cough startled her from finding books on the mythology section, her favorite aisle.

"Oh, Mr. Kim." she bowed when she faced him.

the older did the same and smiled a bit to her. she did not know how or why but everytime Mr. Kim is around, she had this positive vibe surrounding her. The light feeling sending her shivers and it made her bright and happy for the rest of the day.

"mythology section, i see. let me guess, mermaids, again?" he jokingly asked the younger and lisa laughed a bit.

"yes, sir. but I would also love to read about unicorns." she joked and they both laughed. When lisa had the book in her hands she went to her usual spot, not knowing that her professor still followed her from behind, she was taken aback when he sat in front of her.

"oh, sir. am I not bothering you?" she asked politely.

"no you're not. In fact I should be the one asking you that."  he chuckled a bit and smiled to her. His dimples was showing and it was cute.

"not at all, sir." she said and she opened the book. she doesn't want to share an awkward atmosphere, until her professor decided to talk.

"you see, lisa. I see your interests about those creatures are quite not normal for teenagers like you.  I mean, it's hard to believe those nowadays and they're way too old for this generation's liking." he started the topic relating to mermaids.

"I'm aware of that sir but I belivie that their opinions won't contribute to my beliefs, sir." she confidently said and he grinned at her.

"I like that attitude, lisa. Moving on, have you read the book already?" he reminded her about the book they had a small arguement yesterday.

"halfway through it, sir." she said while scanning the book and this didn't escape his eyes. her interests are one of a kind and Namjoon thought of an idea.

"you remember what I told you yesterday, lisa?" he asked and the girl smiled to her.

"to see is to believe, sir." they both said.

"well, I know you have satisfactions about mermaids lisa, and I know you believe in them. I had something to show you if you don't mind." he said to her which made her curious.

"what is it, sir?"

"something you would be delighted to see. meet me after my last classes for this afternoon. Class 5-A. I'll get going. It is up to you but I hope you'll see me though." he stood up and left.

two minutes before five thirty and lisa hurriedly walked through the second floor of the building. luckily, she made it on time and arrived when Mr. Kim was left in the room.

"I knew you would come." he said and went out the classroom. "let's go?" Mr. Kim led the way and lisa skipped happily behind him. She was giddy to find out what the professor is talking about.

the drive home to somewhere lisa did not know is about an almost an hour and she texted her mom she'll be home late whilst still in the car. the streets were starting to look familiar and she remembered a part from her childhood. it is where they live before. lisa smiled when she went out of the car.

it stopped to an apartment and lisa felt giddy while taking the stairs since she had a phobia for elevators and she was excited to wait next in line.

when they arrived at his place, lisa was shocked how wide could it be. thinking that it's a small apartment from the outside but it seemed like it the whole basement of their house.

she roamed her eyes around the place. it was extremely neat for a man. Namjoon had an aquarium with electric eels, and lisa was fascinated how those creatures swam. She observed the frams hung on the wall and she realized he was "you're a scientist, Sir?" she asked.

"I am, lisa." he said and showed her a mini science laboratory in his apartment. it still had specimen and some wares had parts of animals ready for experiments.

"okay, let's go now. it is not what I'm gonna show to you." he grabbed lisa by the hand and pressed a button near his bookshelf. the shelf moved aside and it revealed a door.

"woah, it's so cool, Sir. I wonder how many secret rooms you have here." he laughed at her curiosity.

they entered the room and before he turned the lights on, he told her

"remember what I told you, lisa? to believe is to see." she nodded.

"are you ready?" she took a deep breath and nodded.

the lights went on and it revealed a capsule and a large pond. lisa was puzzled what is it in here. namjoon left her in her spot and he went near the capsule. knocking twice and he knew that he'll show up not less than a minute.

"lisa, come closer. it won't bite." she took a step closer and it is when she found out there's a creature inside the capsule. it swam near the glass and it was beautiful. he was beautiful.  lisa cannot believe what she saw. she stiffened.

namjoon laughed at her reaction but it is normal. the creature went back to his usual spot after seeing namjoon with someone. he was afraid to show himself.

"taehyung? come on. she's just like me." namjoon forced him in a polite way and he can't do nothing but give up.

lisa was still shocked and even more than that when he revealed himself to her.

he is ethereal.

"come on, boy. don't be shy. introduce yourself. come on." namjoon went to lisa and brought her extremely neat to the creature she once fascinated and caught interest to. mermaids.

she cannot believe it is now alive and breathing in front of her.

he smiled, he looked so gorgeous. his golden scale reflecting through her big doe eyes.

"hello, I'm Taehyung." he's a bit shy.
