Chapter 3: New Friend

Mira's POV
I woke up today with a nightmare about me who signed The Storybook of Legends, I became evil, then everyday I tried getting Snow into trouble. Then it stopped when I was mirror prisoned.

I was now huffing and sweating, lucky for me it was just a dream. I checked Red to see if she woke up because of me, luckily, she's still fast asleep.

I rose up from bed and put on my violet fuzzy slippers. I grabbed my towel and went to the bathroom. Since it's Legacy Year, all legacy year students have bathrooms in their dorms.

When I was inside the bathroom I turned the shower to hot, because it's really cold. I put pantene shampoo and soap.

After taking a shower, I changed to my clothes. Today I am wearing a: white flowery-flowy skirt that reached to my knees, purple Lacey shirt, inside my Lacey shirt is a dark purple tube, then for my shoes I wore a wedge with curly a lilac flower on top of it.

For my make up: I put a violet eyeshadow, black maskara, eye liner, and a glossy light pink lipstick.

I checked my clock again '6:11', I shaked Red to wake up.

"Red, it's almost breakfast." She rose and rubbed her eyes.
"Hmmmmm..?"
"I said wake up its almost breakfast."
"5 more minutes please?" She pleaded.

"No, today's our first class and I don't wanna miss it. Cause after breakfast it assembly and if Grimm checks and we're not there were so dead. Now wake up lazyhead."

She groaned and went to the CR. While I was waiting I received a text from dad.

(Mira bold, Dad normal.)

D: Good morning Mira.
M: morning Dad
D: So... Dell good about today?
M: yeah I just gained a new friend.
D: Your roommate.
M: mmhm, she's really shy at the outside but she's totally fun when you get to know her.
D: hmm..it seems like you're having fun there, well I gotta go know darling.
M: alrighty, ill call you later after classes I also need to go now I love you dad.
D: love you too take care.

After our conversation, Red stepped out the bathroom.
"Wow you bath so fast."
"I know."
"Now hurry up and change times ticking."
"Relax Mira, it's not time yet besides assembly starts at 6:55."
"Okay,  now go change."

I waited for Red to finish.
"Let's go." We stepped outside our dorms with our bags. We walked through the hallway to the castleteria.
We grabbed our breakfast and went to the Rebels table.

Even though it's my second day here, I'm pretty much lucky that Snow didn't see.

We started to eat our breakfast, it's unfair that we couldn't pick the food we want. A couple of minutes later after we were done eating. We heard a sound of a mic. Then Grimm stood tall in front.

"Good morning, students. As of today I would like you to meet our new student."

I crossed my fingers hoping it wouldn't be me.

"Our new student is Mira Queen. Ms. Queen please come forward."

I passed through the crowd until I reached Grimm. He signaled me to come closer. I walked through the mic.

"Hi  everyone." I said nervously. Then I heard whispers like:

'Isn't she the daughter of the Dark Queen?

'All I know is she's evil'

'Stay away from her she might curse you'

I heard comments like that, so badly I wanna cry and ran away. But I stopped myself from crying. So I just went back to Red.

"Hey it's okay Mira. Don't let them get to you enjoy everything before you sign the book. And don't think about destiny either it just pressures you."

I sniffed, well at least I have my Rebel friends who's here for me.

"Thanks Red, even though it's the first time we met, you're really  understanding."

"Isn't that what best friends are for?"
I smiled at her she just lighten up my day.

"So what's your first class?"
"Uh, Damsel in Distress? Really? That subject is soo bring. Well how about yours?"

"General Villainy? Really? I'm not evil."
"Well just take care. Mr. Wolf might you know, blow you when you're late."

"Okay. Thanks for the info."
After Grimm's long boring speech. Students head to their classes. I entered the Mr. Wolf's class.

When I entered evryone looked at me. Then I saw Maleficent, her looks scares me.

"Ah, Miss Queen take your seat."
I sat down where he told me to and guess what it's near him. Then he started the lesson I didn't listen much because it was too boring.

After a while, the bell rang and we were dismissed. All students went out, when I was about to go Maleficent grabbed me.

"Hey Mal, what's up?"
"Mira, how come you didn't tell me you'd be going here? I could've toured you around the school."

"I didn't even know you're here. And besides Badwolf already toured me around so..."

"Okay, anyways I'll give you my number so that we can get each other. And I'm sorry if you're not a lil comfy here. But don't worry I have your back."

Oh my fairytales, at least I have another one. We exchanged numbers.
"So what's your next class?"
"History of Evil spells?"
"Oh, I'm in that class too. Let's go you might not want to have detention."

She grabbed my hand and went inside. We sat right next to each other.  I wasnt listening when Baba Yaga called my name. She asked me to do a simple spell I know.

Good thing mom taught me some spells. So what I did is a freezing spell. I feezed one student and unfreeze it again.

"Good job Miss. Queen. What a nice demonstration. I'll give you A."
Wow, my first luck at class. Okay maybe I'll learn other spells but I'll only use it for good.

After Baba Yaga teaching other spells the bell rang again and we were dismissed.

Since Mal and I don't have same schedules we separate each other and went to Science and Sorcery.

Prof. Rumpelstiltskin partnered us. Lucky for me, I was partnered with Red.

"Oh thank goodness, you're my partner."
Then Prof. Rumpelstiltskin taught us some basic potions like: butterfly, cloud and shrinking and growing potions.

After giving us our assignments the bell rang and we headed to the castleteria, grabbed our lunch, and sat on our usual table.

While we were eating, Grimm announced another announcements.
"Today is Friday, so well have half day."

All the students cheered. So I quickly hext Mal.

Mira bold, Mal normal

M: Hey Mal. Why don't you hang out with me today I'll introduce you to Red.
M: you mean red riding hood?
M: of course, just to let her know. And also to hang out.
M: yeah sure. At fairybucks
M: okay meet you at FOUR. And my trip.
M: no just let me and don't insist, next time we'll hang out I'll let you.
M: okay. See you.

"Who were you hexting?"
"Oh just a friend you'll meet later."
"Okay."

After eating  we head to our dorms. I plopped down on bed and slept.
