Chapter 8: EAH's Got Talent

Mira's POV
I woke up still feeling tired from last night. I slowly rise up and turned my head to the others. They were still sleeping peacefully so what I did I took my mirror phone and pictured them.

I wake them all up by shaking them but they won't wake up. So what I did, I opened my mirrorphone, went to my music and played a dragon roaring sound.

I full volumed it so they will really wake up. When I turned it on it blast really loudly, then they woke up running and shouting.

They went ran around shouting while I was laughing so hard. When they noticed me they stopped running and glared at me.

"You scared the hex of me!" Ariel said.
"What? I just did what I have to do. If I didn't do that well be late for class now go and change." I said.

"Just swear the next time youll wake us up just pinch us." Belle said.

"Pinch us softly." Aurora said.
Everyone changed their clothes, after a while they were finally ready.

We went out the dorm and headed to the castleteria, when we were almost there I asked Snow permission.

"Hey I'll be going now I'm sorry I won't join you cause I'm with the Rebels." I said to Snow.

"We understand."
"Ciao." We separated ways, they went to their usual table and same as mine.

I went to grab my breakfast. And sat down to our table.
"Hey guys."

"Hey, so how was your sleepover yesterday." Ursula asked.

"Was it wonderlandiful?" Cheshire asked while she was floating in the air with her smile.

"Yup it was great. I think I can adjust from Snow." I said surely, after last night I think I'm okay with her whenever she's around.

"Hey I noticed something where's the boys?" I asked cause I didn't saw Pinnochio and Hatter sitting here.

"Oh, they separated table from us."
Ursula said simply

"But... There's someone joining us." Cheshire said and a girl appeared from behind them it was Mal.

"Mal, ya joining here?" I asked
"Yeah." That's fairy great.

We were eating while talking, while we were we heard a sound of a mic. Knowing it was one of Grimm's announcements we didn't turn our head back and kept eating.

"Good morning students, I have some very important announcements today. I'm going to do a Got Talent, and it will be starting tommorow."

Wow, a talent show maybe I can sign up and show my talent like David said. So I listened closely to Grimm's words.

"In the show, the judges will pick 3 contestants in the 1st part, those three contestants will battle to whatever-after their talent is. 2nd part, one will be out then the left contestants will be battling and lastly the 3rd part,the announcing of winners."

Oh, I hope I'll win. And I'll show Ever After who's not evil. This is my chance my one and only chance to prove them. So I listened once again to him.

"All students are free to enter, to sign up please go to Madam Yaga, she'll give you a number, and after that proceed to the Grimmnasium, and before I leave please rehearse starting now you only have two days to practice your talents. Signing up will be only for today, it is open at 11 am to 5 PM. Now that's all, thank you for listening."

Well I better practice starting now, and sign up later for the audition.

"Mira, you're all ears to the announcements." Mal said.

"Yeah it's my only chance to prove myself I'm not evil. Oh by the way aren't you guys entering?" I asked them, maybe if they will I can have a duet.

"No were not, but well be there supporting you."  Mal said.

"Wait, Mira have you seen Red?" Ursula asked.

"No, but she said she'll be going back today. And if you meet Red, please hext me."

"Okay we will." I left the table and went to my dorm.

I ran because I was hextremely hexcited even though it's in two days. Hmmmmm.... But I already missed David, I haven't seen him since yesterday.

But I won't worry maybe I'll see him there. I reached our dorm and opened it. I quickly went to my cabinet and opened it, I searched for my guitar so that I can practice before the auditions. I finally found it my guitar.

I strummed my fingers in the strings of my guitar slowly.  I still remembered the time when Dad gave this to me on my 11th birthday. 

I was thinking what song will I choose since I have so many songs that I know with my guitar playing.

After a moment of thinking I finally know what to sing in the four rounds.
So what I picked is:
- All We Know by Chain Flyers
- Royals by Lorde
- Believer by Hex Dragons
- The Climb by Flairy Cyrus

Okay, now this songs are now settled all I have to do is practice now and head to Madam Yaga at 11.

I practiced and practiced the four songs I picked until 11.

When it was already 11 I stopped practicing, laid down my guitar and put it back on the cabinet. I came out of the dorm and locked it.

I went to Madam Yaga immediately so that I can pick my number early. When I reached her office I slowly knocke on her door. It slowly opened revealing Madam Yaga fixing all papers using her magic.

"Ah, Ms. Queen are you going to audition?" She then stopped and face to me.

"Yes, I would like to get my number now."

"Here you go you'll be number 5, and make sure you won't get it lost cause I won't be giving another."

"Yes Madam Yaga, I won't." I smiled at her.
"Now go to the Grimmnasium, because other students are already there and since you're number five. You need to get there early. Auditions starts in 11: 20."

I nodded at her and left her office, I walked to the Grimmnasium for the Auditions.

When I reached there, I opened the door. I saw students waiting for Grimm to come. Gladly only few students auditioned for The Got Talent.

I saw Snow, Ariel, Charming, Hatter, Pinnochio, and some other students I didn't know. I just sat in one of the seats until Snow came to me.

"Oh Mira, you're joining too? That's great." She squealed.
"Yeah, I'll just try. But do you know who the judges are?" I asked her. I didn't remembered Grimm saying who the judges are.

"I don't know either." After our little conversation, Grimm arrived at the Grimmnasium then he started calling numbers.

First was Snow, second Ariel, Third Charming, Fourth Pinnochio, And me.

Ariel and Snow's talent was singing and me too.
While Charming's was dancing, Pinnochio's was puppet play, Hatter's were tea tricks and the other students was singing and dancing.

They were 30 of us but only 21 passed and I was one of them. Luckily Grimm let me sing even though it wasnt part of my destiny, but who cares? I wanna enjoy this moment before Legacy Day.

Now I'm going to let them see what this Mira Queen is made of.
