A New Life Jensen Ackles x Reader

His House

You followed Jensen for about 10 minutes listening to the radio and Jasmine in the back seat yelling because of how excited she was. You looked back at her happy that she has finally made a friend in this new place. Your daughter was very quiet and didn't really play with others, she was more of a loner, it was hard for her to make friends when she moved around a lot with you and going from your house to her fathers. Sighing you got out of the car and unbuckled Jasmine and let her run free. you realized Jensen got Justice out and they were playing in the front yard. A couple minutes later he was pushing the stroller around the car with two screaming babies.

"Here let me help," you said moving towards the girl. You picked her up and started rocking her back and forth which calmed her down and you smiled. "I miss when they were this young." signing you look over at Jensen staring down at the boy with love in his eyes.

"Whats their names?" you questioned realizing you didn't know them. "Arrow and Zeppelin. If your such a big fan you would know that tho." He said raising an eyebrow. "Hey, just because I'm a huge fan doesn't mean I stock you. I knew about Justice but not of these little guys." you sassed back laughing.

"So how come I have never seen you before? Are you new to Austin?" he finally says after a long pause. "Yeah, I loved down here about a month ago. There was a job at the hospital for nurses and I knew I needed to take it to help Jasmine." you smiled while you talked. "Wheres her father?" you looked down realizing you have never talked to anyone about him in a long time. "We are getting a divorce..." you trailed off, you looked up at him and saw the concern in his eyes but also understanding. "My wife and I are going through the same thing so I understand." All you wanted to do is hug him, you knew the pain you and him were going through but you decided against it and turn to watch Jasmine and Justice play.

"Why don't we go in a get something to drink and ill make lunch," Jensen offered, you nodded and followed him in. Arrow was still fast asleep in your arms. "Where is the nursey?" You asked looking over at Jensen. "I have to put Zep down so follow me." You nodded looking around this beautiful house, it was fairly big from what you could see but you only went from the living room to the nursery. Laying Arrow down in her crib you smiled and walked out of the room.

Walking back to the living room you sat on the couch beside Jensen. Listening to your daughters play outside. "It's funny, Jasmine was wondering if she was going to meet someone new today, I guess she was right." You smiled up at Jensen still not believing you are standing In front of him.

"Yeah I guess so, so where are from? Originally? You said you moved here not too long ago." He looked curious but interested in what you had to say.

"(Where ever you're from)" looking away at the girls. "Jasmine didn't really want to leave, she had so many friends there and now she spends a lot of her time alone in her room. It's nice to see her happy like this." You said looking over at Jensen now.

Jensen was just about to say someone when your phone rang. "Excuse me," You said standing up and walking away answering your phone. Looking at the name you rolled your eyes. "Chad." You spoke sternly but quietly. "Y/N I was wondering if I could have Jasmine early, I have to go away for a couple days for work. I know we agreed on you having her this weekend but please." Chad was begging and you kind of enjoyed it but you rolled your eyes.

"Seriously! You going to do this now. Fine, you can pick her up tomorrow. And she better be back in 3 days." You yelled accidentally and went quiet after. "Okay, I'll see you at 9 am be ready." Then he hung up. You just rolled your eyes and walked back over to Jensen.

"Sorry I didn't mean to raise my voice, he is just so maddening." You sat down and out your head in your hands frustrated. "I'm sorry, so he is picking up Jazz early?" He looked concerned. "Yeah tomorrow at 9, I'm not sure how happy she will be, now she has made friends with Justice." Looking up from your hands with a small smile.

"Well, when she comes back maybe we can all have a sleepover." He suggested with a small laugh. "I would love that." You smiled and things seem to get a little awkward between you too until the girls came running in.

"Mommy!" Jazz yelled jumping on your lap. "Can I stay the night tonight? I'm having so much fun with JJ." You looked down and spoke softly. "I'm sorry sweetie but you're going to daddies early and he is coming tomorrow." You saw how hurt she was by saying that. You knew she didn't like going to her fathers but she understood somewhat. "But Jensen said when you come back we all can have a sleepover. Wouldn't that be fun?" She smiled and shook her head yes.

"It's only 3 days love then you home again. You can call me every night." She nodded again and jumped off and started playing with JJ again. You just laughed and shook your head.

"Y/N why do you think she hates her dad's house so much?" Jensen moved closer as he spoke. "I'm not really sure but she tells me it's no fun there. He doesn't have the toys I have here." You shrugged and looked at your watch. "Crap! I need to go home and make dinner." You shot up from the couch.

"Hey, why don't you relax and let me make dinner and just let the girls play." Jensen out his hands on your shoulders with a smile. You agreed and sat back down.

After you all ate dinner you insisted on cleaning up, you were in the kitchen washing dishes when you hear Jazz "I don't want to go to daddy's, he's mean." You froze listening closer. "Honey, I know it isn't fun there but just think 2 nights of sleep and your back with Mommy. It isn't for long." Jensen said softly. You smiled knowing that he is stepping in to help. You finished washing the dishes and told Jazz it was time to go. She ran and got her shoes on. Saying goodbye to JJ and you turned to Jensen.

"Thank you for the amazing day. I can't thank you enough." You smiled and blushed a little. "It was all her." He points at Jazz. "Well, we better be going, have a good night you two." You said with a smile and went to leave. Jensen grabbed your arm lightly and turned you. He was so close you could smell the wine on his breath from dinner. He leaned down and gave you a sweet kiss on the cheek. "Have a good night Y/N, I'm really glad we meet." You blushed and nodded.

You walked out the door closing it behind you and took a deep breath and walked with Jazz to the car. "Mommy, is he going to be my new Daddy?" Her question took you to surprise. "Oh, honey I don't know. Would you like that?" You asked buckling her into her car seat. "Yeah! He better than daddy now." You sighed and kissed her on the forehead and hopped in the driver's seat and headed home.
