"Felix, wake up!" I hissed. Felix opened one eye. "What is on your arm? Is that..." I couldn't even finish my sentence. Is that why he was in here the last time?
"What do you mean? There's nothing on my arm." He said calmly. Calm is very unlike Felix, I thought. I noticed Nurse Howell standing close, staring at us.
"Wait...never mind. It's just the light." I covered for Swede. He looked at me gratefully, then looked back down at his book, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne. "Isn't that supposed to be an iffy book?" I asked him. He shrugged.
"It reminds me of the sea, I guess. I just think of Captain Nemo as this...hero for doing what he wanted, shunned from the world, and making friends who were like him. I wanted to be like Nemo and control the ship. But how can I do that when I can't even control my own life?" He asked, looking straight at Sean. I sighed, but before I could answer Ethan spoke up.
"It's like how I wanted to be in control of my weight, but my family kept feeding me and feeding me and even my own boyfriend, Tyler, wouldn't let me live down the fact that I was fat. I passed out in gym and woke up here." He looked as if he wanted to say more, but then he just asked, "are any of you guys homophobic?"
"I mean, Phil-er, Doctor Lester is gay." I said.
     "No, I'm not!" He shouted.
     Felix laughed. "Sure ya aren't..."
"Yes, Ethan, none of us are homophobic." I assured.
A blonde popped in. "Hey guys, Mark is off for a couple days, so I'm filling in for him."
"Oh, yes!" Phil squeaked ecstatically. "Everyone, this is Doctor Oakley!"
     "Hello, Doctor Oakley-"
"Oh my God, you're short!" Felix shouted. Doctor Oakley pouted.
"Could you never bring that up again, thanks."
"That's gonna be the only thing being brought up on you!" Felix said, dying of laughter.
"Actually, I need to borrow Marzia for a sec." Doctor Oakley revealed. I got up and followed him to Mark's office.
"So, young lady, tell me about yourself." Doctor Oakley said once we got in. I shrugged.
"There's not much to tell. I've lived a boring life with a father who left 9 years ago and an abusive mother. See?  Boring." I replied.
Doctor Oakley sighed. "Okay. Okay, that's a start. Why do you believe that's boring?"
"Because I'm used to it, and being used to things is boring. If you're too used to it, it becomes tedious and not worth it. Thinking back, I fancy that's why I tried to kill myself. I needed change, and I got it. I got a change in my always empty cycle." Wow, I thought, I just laid some wisdom on him. Poor thing.
"O...kay...let's just end the session right now, shall we?" Doctor Oakley said.
"Just trying to get away from me?" I asked.
Doctor Oakley's eyes widened, "No, of course not!"
"It's okay, it really is. My dad got away from me, my mom has tried numerous times to get away from me, my only friend got away from me by hanging herself in the classroom during lunch break and said she was trying to get away from me. Again, I would just like some change." I said darkly, my eyes begging for him to not go.
"No no no! That's not what I meant," he clarified, "I just meant that it's Ethan's turn in here."
"...Why is Ethan in here? I mean, he said that he passed out in gym, but did he just overheat? Well, he did say that everybody kept forcing him to eat..."
"He's anorexic! Kinda like I was! I can help him! I can help him! I can help him!" Doctor Oakley screamed ecstatically. "No more, 'what a fat lard' coming from my mind! I'll be a hero!"
     "Should I...?"
"Send him in!" Doctor Oakley yelled. "Please!"
"Hey, Doctor Oakley wants you...and he's super happy, so be warned." I said.
"Hey, did you just save Ethan's life or something? I overheard your guy's conversation." Felix asked.
     I smiled. "I guess I did."

That was chapter four! I was just so drained of creativity, I needed something new so I made this over the course of like a week. Stay safe!
